I was in Materiel Management in the Air Force. In 2015, deployed to the Deid and worked in the consolidated aircraft parts store (CAPS) and Flight Service Center. In 2019, I went back and forward deployed to Afghanistan and did COSO for the KC-135s. Airmen, don't be afraid to deploy. Embrace them, volunteer for them, and do them as much as you can. You will make many friends and connections and you certainly get the experience. Supe Supe, Damn Right!!

This’ll be my first deployment as an A1C and I’ve never worked in DMS... when I get out there do they expect you to perform at a certain level? Cause I know stuff but I dont know a lot of stuff still. Just nervous cause I’m not sure what to expect work wise. Thanks

Deployment is accepted in most deployments it is command directed so, if the Installation commander doesn't want beards he can make all squadrons enforce shaving.

Hi idk if you’ll see this but my boyfriend is Airforce as well he’s a crew chief we are doing our first real deployment as a couple and I’m anxious about his safety obviously but really anxious about our relationship I’ve heard a lot of stories about cheating is it very easy for you to cheat on a deployment say your partner wanted too cheat , is there ways for that to happen , also are the bathrooms mixed boys and girls ? I’m just so nervous we are a strong couple but I’ve just heard many stories and I’m just trying to prepare myself I love him so much and I want us to be okay . He’s cheated on me in the past but I believe he’s changed , some people say that there’s ways to cheat and others say there’s no way at all , the worst feeling is thinking if they cheat that you may never find out about it or I stay loyal and find out he wasn’t. Listen... my brother was inna army for 6 years mom 10 years and they even told me don’t bother bein in a relationship when i go to the military. Granted my mom met my Sperm donor in there. You’re a pretty young lady, don’t go on deployment stressin whether you should trust someone or not because if you question your trust towards him, then that should be your answer. This is comin from the most easily to seduce 20 yr old on the planet... if he cheated on you, that showed you what you meant to him, so don’t be surprised if it happens again. Focus on yourself.
