The Amorites - Tribes Of The Nephilim

This is an overview of the Amorite tribe. It details who they were, where they came from, and where they went. It's also part of a larger series I'm doing on the Nephilim tribes in the Bible. Each tribe in the series is addressed as a standalone entry, so there is some overlap. As always, the Berean challenge (Acts 17:11) applies to every episode of TL. ‘And we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in theirs.’ Too often people see the Bible as being somehow poetic or metaphorical when really it’s saying what really happened right in front of them. I like the attention to detail on the high level (pun intended) enemies the children of Israel encountered, puts an extra dose of realism into the Scripture that a lot of believers overlook and dare I say are in disbelief about the subject in general (giants, nephilim etc.)

I have been revisiting the history of the Ancient Near East lately. If I recall correctly, the Meopotamian name for the Amorite translates as westerners. I believe they were supposed to be a nomadic people. Again off the top of my head, I think they migrated into northern and southern Mesopotamia in the 21st to 17th centuries BC. The established several new cities at the sites of old cities, including Babylon. They then created the Old Babylonian Empire.

Nice video but there is a huge mistake in their ancestry. The amorites where a branch of the amalek tribes who came from the south of the Arabian peninsula. They kept migrating over time and splitting into different tribes like the Hebrews, Philistis, Phoenicians and amorites who became the Hyksos. The Jews altered the bible and said that the Canaanites came from Africa from hem son of noah which isn't true. They said that so they can justify oppressing them because noah while drunk cursed Canaan because of his father hem. Which makes no sense. We Muslims don't believe any prophet was ever drunk. The amorites and amaleks came from shem from Yemen. They came from amleeq son of lauth son of Iram son of shem. They migrated and some of them even settled in today's Mecca and Medina which is why some of their areas today have wierd names like yathrib and mount Uhud. Also prophet Ishmael married one of the amaleks. And prophet Abraham and Ishmael spoke with those people without any issues or any translator. They where Semitic people. People think that they have been fully wiped out but that isn't true. Their descendants are the Syrians, Nabataeans, palmyrans, Palestinians and Lebanese people. There's a lot of proof that the amaleks are Arabs and Semitic. Some of their stories and poems still exist. The amorites where just a branch of them who where in Syria and later ventured into Iraq and took Babylon and then later in time they took Egypt as the Hyksos.

God knew that Satan would have another go at infiltrating human beings through their sinful nature. So Ham's grandson did exactly that. One can see that he is trying to draw you into a debate in which his premises and conclusion are attempting to put doubt in your mind , trying to make a dent in your faith .. If he were a fellow believer wishing to discuss meanings /interpretations of verses or chapters that lead to divine messages in the Canon of Scripture , then engaging in effective reasonings would be enjoyable and an arena in which each party learns something , yet , it appears or at least eludes to & hints that he is a non-believer in the Holy Word of God . Maybe a member of one of the cults that call themselves Christians or of a religion outside Christianity .. One thing to be aware of is ; Anyone that blasphemes God with " he couldn't get the job done " , He must of missed a loophole " , etc ,, is not worthy of entering into conversation with . If you did answer the three questions offered , he would mock and ridicule your answers .. The answer you did give him was suitable and adequate enough to reveal your position . Each year I am amazed at just how much I have missed before that now the Holy Spirit is revealing to me this time round. Normally I don't even bother to answer people's comments unless I sense the Holy Spirit prompting me to answer but it is never to answer their following questions. I have been on this planet far to long to argue the point with people. I believe the Word of God to be true & so infallible as it is God's written Word to each one of us. How we interpret it is our responsibility before a holy God & WE WILL BE held accountable for our inaccurate interpretations especially if it leads others astray. I knew he was either a bot or an idiot so I had no intention of going head to head with him. A waste of my precious time. So I answered him according to what I felt the Spirit wanted me to say. Now I will just ignore him and/or others who say stupid things just to get attention. It is a pity that such ignorant people have to comment & spoil what would otherwise be a safe place to continue the conversation as a follow up of the original video.

No sir. They are not the descendants of Ham. They are the descendants of Og. Og was a grandson of Adam and Anaq (not to be confused with Anak), was his mother. He was alive before the flood and after. He lived longer than all the men of his day. From genesis to his murder in the book of numbers. Jewish scriptures even maintain that he survived by holding onto the ark. The Amorites, who were sumerians were Rephaites as were the Anakim. As they were persecuted and forced out of what is now israel, with the hebrew god demanding sacrifice of their children and livestock after their defeat, many survived. The Anakim were sheltered in Gaza by the Palestinians before fleeing the middle east entirely.

I hope you're aware that the biblical locations were shifted from Africa, where they really occurred, to the Middle East by the Greco-Romans. For example, at 2:44, Engedi is actually named after Gedi at the Kenyan coast. I've seen a Tigrinyan Ethiopian saying that the biblical Armorites are today's Amharas. Most of the Canaanites (the 'ites') children of the fallen angels are the various Nilotic and Cushitic people in the Horn, East, part of Central and West Africa. The Israelites are the bantus.
