Making OCs for a beginner artist is one of the funest things. I don't think there's harm in it, though giving them disorders and making them killers for no particular reason is kinda odd and kind of concerning. But it's also an edgy teen phase most of the time.

I agree with Ed Farkas here, especially keeping in mind many people who make OCs are young and this is just a creative outlet so there’s nothing wrong with them making up the wackiest things to have fun! And with regards to the mental disorders, I agree that slapping a label on just to make the story more ‘interesting’ is not good, but one kinda has to keep in mind that a lot of people use these OCs as emotional outlets, so while it may seem like meaninglessly slapping on a disorder to someone on the outside, you never know what the creator of that OC is actually going through.
