Love this sharing, thank you John. Once I was lost in the city, found myself alone in a back street. I prayed for help, saw 3 men further on, I asked if they knew where the taxi stand for my town was, one man said yes, I'll take you there. As we walked I asked if he knew my town, he said yes. Told him my father's name, he said: yes I know him very well, I worked with him and gave some info on my family. I relaxed, felt relief as we chatted. About fifteen minutes after he said: here, this is it. He opened the door of a waiting taxi while wishing me well. As I sat and turned to thank him again, there was no one there, just a couple of passers- by. To this day I refer to him as my Angel. Brother John, your sharing today brought back this 44 year old incident; I'm grateful that you reminded me to behold and give thanks for some of the mysteries we encounter as we make this Earthly journey.❤❤❤

Same story with my Mom. She & my Father we’re in an accident. Dad didn’t make it… They were 4-5 hrs away & when we got to hospital with Mom, she was looking for her glasses & actually told my sister they were in her purse and wrapped in tissue in the side pouch. Older sister, told Mom that we didn’t even know where her purse was b/c we didn’t go look at the car, we just drove straight to the hospital. So after sister left and Mom was calmed down and through her surgeries, my husband had gone to get personal belongings out of their car & Mom’s purse was in there. She was still wanting her glasses & so I asked her where they were and she told me about a truck driver that stopped and stayed with her and held her hand until the ambulance got there. She told me how she wanted her glasses when he was there and he found them but they were broken, so he didn’t want to put them on her. He told her he would wrap them in tissue and put in the outside pocket of her purse. Sure enough, I dig and find them… wrapped in tissue, but no longer broken. I kept asking her to describe the truck driver… she told me where it parked, right behind their car & it was a black truck… after dealing with the shock of Dad’s death and dealing with Mom’s injuries, I called the State Trooper that worked the accident and asked him if he talked to the truck driver that sat and comforted my Mom while she called out to our Dad and comforted her until the ambulance arrived. The Trooper said that he never saw a truck or truck driver that sat with her. He said he had just worked another accident b/c there was construction on the interstate & that he was the first on the scene. He said he talked to all witnesses and there was no truck or truck driver.

I agree. We can be "angels' to others. I have had 2 angel encounters only they were Not ordinary human looking. It would be too long to tell you the whole stories here--so I will just give part of them. But first of all, the fact is that at the time I did not really believe in angels as I was raised in a church that believed that angels only happened back in the Bible days. But I found out that that is Not true. #1) I was at work, working alone, as a Nurse in the Hospital nursery. I only had 2 babies to care for so only one nurse was needed. I had been praying often for a long while to be able to quit smoking. (By the way, I certainly did not smoke at work !). But suddenly I heard someone tell me to take my cigaretts & lighter out of my purse & put them on the table in the next room which was part of the labor & delivery dept. While that voice was speaking, I turned my head slightly over my left shoulder & saw the angel . He very tall @7 ft ? , had red hair, had some sort of white tunic on with gold/brassy colored metal--armor like attachment on his chest. I did exactly what he said to do. He was gone. I continued caring for the 2 babies. My shift was over with. I had not even had a whim or thought of smoking that day and every day after that. Through the several days after that, my coworkers who were smokers asked me how I quit. I told them the truth . Most did not believe me. And one was irate with me and even called me a liar. She was a smoker & apparently she thought that I just didn't want her to be able to quit smoking. And that really hurt me. But I had literally quit smoking and that is a fact. I'll tell the 2nd angel story at anther time --- IF anyone really wants to hear it. The first incident happened @ 40 yrs ago and the 2nd incident happened about 10 years ago.

My mum has seen what people usually think of as angels, like beings of light coming to her. They have extremely long wings and are very tall but she said she couldn't fully describe them, and they were pure love

I love this! So, I thought I'd share mine and my grammy's experiences with angels. When Grammy was a little girl, I'm guessing around 8, she had to go to the bathroom. Of course, they had an out-house back then, which means going outside in the dark...it was the middle of the night. But, there was a huge and beautiful, bright angel standing in her way. Scared, she ran back into the house. Turns out, her dad went to the outhouse and found a water moccasin, very poisonous. As a little girl listening to her story, I asked question after question. But this angel was there to scare little Ruthie so she wouldn't die...it wasn't her time. I've had two experiences with angels. The first one was when I was 17 and me and my bestie went to the beach to see the waves, they were huge after a storm. Being the feisty woman she is, she wanted to go out on the jetty. That's very dangerous! People have died doing that and/or have gotten beaten up badly on those rocks. I couldn't talk her out of it, so stood watching and praying like crazy. Then, suddenly I saw the image of a man, soft and white, barely there, holding her from behind with his arms around her. Along with this 'vision' was the feeling of peace. My worry was dropped away instantly. I knew she would be okay. The second time I saw an angel, it was when I was in my late forties. I had cared for my mom since I was 30 (she was a wonderful person!). Towards the end of her life, she was losing her mental faculties. I was under extreme stress in those days. I had gone out to the backyard one night to take a break. I went to my peach tree and was praying, then switched to talking to my guardian angel/guide. I asked if I could see him, I needed him soooo bad! A soft light showed within the tree. there was a flutter about it and I moved around to make sure it wasn't something (what? I didn't know) but it was consistent and not coming from anywhere. It made me smile, but then my mom called to me from the house and I had to go in. So, my experiences were very different from yours. I believe that we get what we need. Blessings and love to you!

I'd never proclaim to be an angel but as a poet the amount of times people have said to me "Shane your poem was just what I needed to hear today" (I am "inspired" to write a poem a day). I think when we tune in and give of our higher self... it flows where it's needed. So too I have had those who have said just the right thing at the right time for me. I think in that way we are all angels for each other. There is a quote my wife has printed on the back of her Mini that reads "We are each of us angels with one wing, we can only fly by embracing one another" (Luciano De Crescenzo) I like that 💜

Great stories, John. Thank you for not being afraid of sharing. Whenever I share my stories with people, they think that I am crazy. I know what I saw and I will never forget the night when my bedroom was lit up so brightly it woke me up. I was about 3 months pregnant with my daughter, who was a miricle conception since my doctor told me I would never be able to concieve. I sat up in bed and my cat was witnessing this phenomenon with me. This ball of light was so beautiful with gold and purple specks. I couldn't believe that my husband was sleeping through this so I jostled him to wake him up, but he laid there like a lump. Just then the light zoomed across the room, made a popping noise, broke into three lights and dissapeared into the wall, leaving fizzling lights that rezembled a firework fading out. I could smell ozone and my cat jumped off the bed to investigate. I couldn't go back to sleep after that exhilerating experience. That following Tuesday, 9-11 happened.

John, I really enjoyed your stories of encounter. I'm on my path of awakening during the past year; however, back in December 2018 I was on a landscape photography trip in Death Valley, CA. I was with a friend and we were headed one mid-morning on the 27 mile 4WD road to a very remote site called "The Racetrack". About five miles in, I drove across a sharp rock that cut a large hole into a rear tire. The road is narrow and I barely had room to move to the side to allow anyone through who might pass by. My friend and I got out of my truck to assess the situation. I had a spare tire, but was not looking forward to doing the work there in the desert. It wasn't two minutes before we saw a rising ridge of dust not far away and it was a man on a motorcycle! He stops right next to me and comments that it appears we need help. My friend and I were close to 70 years old at the time. He parks his bike behind my truck a few feet away and says, "ok, you have a spare, you have a jack?" I said yes. He pushes me to get everything out and begins to get down on the ground in the dust while in his spotless riding suit. I get the tools, and he takes over. I only helped operate the jack, he did everything else. He was very animated and friendly. After the tire was changed he stayed around for a short time to talk to us and a few others who happened by. When we were all done, he asked me if I would take his lunch trash from his bike as he was worried it might fall off and litter the desert. I said sure and took it from him. I asked if there was anything we could do for him and that was it. He took off and we never saw him again. I can't put it in words, but I know he was an angel. At least, I will always believe he is one.

What you say about hierarchy is very similar to the book "courage to be disliked" based in ideas from Alfred Adler. He says that life is not people climbing up a ladder with some above and others below. We're all equals walking down a flat road and some just happen to be walking ahead.

Oh how I could use some inspired words! I don’t know if that would even help! I’m staying with my daughter for an extended visit in Florida, which I Love, and my husband is in Arizona working until Mid May, and I have just been so lonely, and even with 4 cats and a dog, it’s not helping. I’m waiting for the RV exchange to start working on my humanitarian project and just to travel and be with my hubby not to think about not having much money. Thank you John. Your mentioning fireworks remindedme of my own experience of a divine message. It was July 10, 2004, I was staying with my father in his hospital room, iit was early in the morning, middle of the night. I was praying and thanking my Grandmother for her son, my father who we were needing to return to her.. when I was done telling her how wonderful a man hed become, I asked for a sign that she understood and was ready for him. Just then outside the cape cod hospital window , fireworks erupted and continued for many minutes, which I explained to my dad. He smiled, he passed later that day.❤

Loved this episode! Thank you for sharing your angel stories. I definitely believe humans can be angels to us . . . I've met many. And I also believe that they can be more sensitive and knowledgeable. For me, I'm okay with thinking of it as them being slightly 'advanced', but not 'better'. For example, two people are climbing a mountain. One is higher up the mountain (more advanced, but nothing to do with being smarter or wiser, etc., just has gained more experience.) As such, they can see more because they have a better vantage point at that moment in time, more perspective, thus more insight. So for me (again, just my perspective), I'm okay with the some of the terminology, as long as it's not demeaning and realizing we will all eventually reach that 'level' of awareness. Back to angels. What I find interesting are the ones that are never seen or heard of again--and in some cases, only that one person saw them, even with other witnesses around. Very interesting indeed. To me . . . especially your story about the boy on the bike. How he just knew how to leave without being seen and disappearing . . . why would he not want to be seen by your family? . . . I'm just wondering why a normal human would care about that. Now, you've got me thinking ;) . . . . Thank you, John. Every seen the old Canadian show: The Littlest Hobo? Now that was an angel!

Me too my volunteer grandmother in the hospital when I was small she was African-American and she had to wipe Blazes in your hair. She was there when my mother couldn’t be no one else saw her, but me a man who ran by me in New York at 1 o’clock in the morning he and his pug dog were wearing raincoats. He stopped and told me everything was going to be OK. It was at a very hard time in my life, when my parents had gotten a divorce, and my father broke my heart, the dog that was with him, turned out to be my dog buddy later on in my life I recognized him, and then there was the man with the rainbow umbrella. I was leaving work. There had just been a flash thunderstorm and he came sauntering down in loafers and a pink shirt and a rainbow umbrella. My sister’s husband was dying. I was going through infertility treatments that weren’t working and I was living in West Haven, which felt like a city to me because I was brought up a North Guilford with the trees, and I had just had a long talk with Joshua about suffering and how I didn’t understand why it was necessary not only that, but why I was sure there had been times when I had contributed to it even if it was involuntary and I thought I download it once we have to accept the world as it is in order to change it and that’s when a day or so later I saw the guy with the rainbow umbrella, and he just disappeared into thin air, and the girl that was waiting for me in the car didn’t see him just me when my mom was dying of end-stage is rheumatoid arthritis, gangrene of the bones in stages, heart failure, and end stages addiction. I went into the chapel at the hospital, and I prayed that God would take her quickly and reduce her suffering and there was an African-American man sitting in a quart and off section of the cafeteria. He had a shirt button all the way up to the top of his neck, and he was kind of goofy and he said it’s going to be a good Christmas this year. Oh yes it’s going to be a great Christmas this year and I said I think so too and he laughed Christmas is my favorite time of year because I never went into the hospital over Christmas. There was never any suffering and I didn’t even have to look back to see if he was still there I know he wouldn’t be in Christmas. It’s also the time of your my mother and I loved. We love decorating the tree and watching Scrooge with Alastair Sim i’ve also sensed big angels that in my minds eye I can see the outline of them with my physical eye, but I can also see them in my minds eye in they don’t seem to have wings though I also have a picture of a white light touching me in the middle of my forehead, and then moving up and out of the picture it was when I was trying to get some weight off more like trying to change the way I ate not just take the weight off but be healthy and I was at a Halloween party and there was so much junk and so I went into the bathroom and said a prayer asked for help then I got the really cool picture later. I once had a dream about an angel. He was faith in light, and he seem to have wings almost like a spiderweb, but a beautiful wings in in the shimmered just the outline of them and she took me to a place in heaven. It was so beautiful, and when I turned to thank him, he was gone. He was wonderful. That was when I was transcending what had happened to me in my 20s and it was very painful, so I’ve never been left alone. Somebody’s always been there when I needed them the most God always answers my prayers because I believe God loves me and I love God To me, my creator has his and her own personal hood, as well, as being the creator of all things as well as being one with everything that has been created, and because if the creation has its own individuality, and we come from our creator, why would I not believe , in the person hood of love itself, I do always have, and when I’ve needed it, the most I’ve been carried and someone has shown up for me and for that I’m truly blessed, and I wish it for all people who are in the thick of it, and in the trenches right now I constantly visualize angels abounding mothers, finding their kids fathers finding their kids kids finding their fathers kids finding a family member an aunt and uncle a sister, or a brother something that will bring them hope something that will ease their hearts food, a place to lay their head a full belly a good night sleep in the arms of someone they know in love or even just someone they feel safe with and they feel loved by. It’s a hard time. A lot of people are going through right now and I pray that they are receiving everything I did and more I’m truly blessed.❤❤❤

Just like your last story. I have similar stuff going on. I don't know what it is but I have something like foresight. My sister met a man. They were talking about moving in. I told her to slow down. She didn't listen. Then they talked about marriage. I told her to slow down. She didn't listen. Fast forward a year. They are getting a divorce. And then with my mother. She was getting surgery. She was all nervous. And I helped her through it without any negative thoughts or feelings. I wasn't worried at all. She thought I was.

Thank you for sharing these incredible experiences you've had with earth angels. They resonate with me. I had a terrible childhood, both of my parents and brother were violent towards me. I was so hopeless I started praying and a miracle happened. They heard me and helped me. When I was in face of evil, I was protected and🎉then I had an encounter with my guardian angel and I had a vision of the statue of liberty in gold. I worked with people helped many, now I'm retired. Now I have certain problems, but I always get help from others when I need it. Yes, we are all angels which are meant to help each other.
