I found enlightenment by falling in love with myself. The good, bad, and the ugly. I befriended my emotions, thoughts, and ego. I stepped into gratitude for All that Is, and realized that I was seeing and experiencing the world in a different way. Now that I am enlightened 🤗 there is a lot of play to do. I substitute play for every moment of every day. I like to play and clean, garden, exercise, living..... playing! Now it is time to just live here in this present moment! Thank you so much for addressing this John. I am finally stepping into my divinity and have a new found confidence in my Reiki practice because of the incredible results - like shocking me. A lady tore the meniscus in her knee while on vacation and it was giving her a lot of pain. When she got up off my table, she had no pain in her knee at all, she was amazed and very happy. Another lady was having an attack of vertigo (she struggles with inner ear problems). She reports that she has had no vertigo since our session, which was over a week ago. These are real results. . . I expect people to receive healing and relief when we finish a session. It has been wonderful to see this.

There is SO much truth in this. I fell straight into the New Age trap in the late 80s/early 90s as a traumatised young person searching for answers. Even though most of what I read did not chime with me intellectually, those ideas slipped under the radar emotionally and made things so much worse for me. I would have been much better off travelling or doing other things than 'seeking' in that world of New Age dogma.

I understand this. When I began my post religion, spiritual journey, I kept feeling the pressure to do and achieve certain experiences and abilities. But I eventually recognized the pressure, the “getting” was a branch of my perfectionism. Instead of forcing myself to do things and feeling badly for not doing them, I trust I will incorporate practices when I’m ready for them. From time to time I reel it all back in and just be.

I had a similar realization while journaling. The labels are such a stumbling block for so many. Just an ego driven belief, ritual. I AM x y or z! Spiritual credentials. As utterly useless in the spiritual journey to self as the societal power coupons we call money. I AM simply at this moment a drop of the oneness of the divine with a name on the physical plane.

Dear John, I want to tell you about a wonderful thing that happened to me while I was re-watching your interview in September 2023 with Alex Ferrari, two nights ago: I was eating a bowl of chuck roast, and suddenly I had the realization (it was more than thought; it was knowing, feeling it) that I AM God having this experience, as the human holding the spoon, and I AM God experiencing being the meat and juice in the bowl, and being the bowl. God IS all of them. I felt God/my God-ness looking out of my eyes, and holding the spoon with my hand. I AM. All is I AM. P.S. I meant to also say thanks! 🙏 Thanks for being a true disciple of our friend Yeshua! Your example helps me grow into being my own flavor of I AM! 🤩

OMG!!! I had a similar experience when I was 16 just sitting on the floor in my living room with my boyfriend eating a tuna sandwich from Subway! It was amazing! It was transformative! I Think its important to let go of everything we "think" we know before we are an empty enough vessel to recieve new ideas. Yeshua talked about the risk of putting new wine in old skins. He also said its easier to pass a camel through the eye of a needle than for a "rich" man to enter the kingdom of God. In other words... drop your so called "riches" including what we think we know. I think I did spiritual enlightenment wrong. It led to a spiritual psychosis earlier this year. Honestly, I am fearful of touching spirituality in that way again :( yet i keep searching videos like this... you seem very genuine and encouraging though

I currently find myself in a situation where someone I love has decided to stop cancer treatment and has only a few days left, If I choose to "To kiss the toad," and allow myself to wallow in my own misery it serves no one but on the other hand there is the choice to exhale and wrap myself and my loved one in God's love. What could swimming in pain accomplish. To me that is negative.
