Discovered trance music by accident a few years back. I'm 58 and am normally into rock music.. But I LOVE trance and this is a trance classic

That's great! Welcome! :D Classic trance genres , especially north europe have high level of sophistication. I like it from about 1998 but todays still found some great treasure from that age. Funny thing british producers made the best mediterran feeling ibiza-trance tracks :D

For example search Solid Session - Janeiro (Pronti & Kalmani) , if not known by you, and close your eyes with headphone... worth it.

I'll be 62 next month, got int DJing since I was 17 years . Went through a bunch of transitions from disco to hip-hop to electro to new wave to freestyle to house to techno to hard house and trance. And this music was the best of times 🎵🎶

This is the song you sing when you finally let go the self sacrifice and you plant your 2 feet in SELF LOVE. When you finally put yourself as number 1 - instead other people or things or empty dogmas or beliefs as number 1s. Where you finally place your own value and worth and "feel good" ahead of trying to assist others to do these things for themselves. When you find yourself regularly and repeatedly complaining about your spouse or partner, other people and relationships generally, your work , or maybe your life, overall. Look closely and with raw honesty, you'll probably see and admit just how much you are sacrificing of yourself for other people and things. And the winder is that once you start to firmly plant your 2 feet and stand in SELF LOVE you will find hardly ANYTHING to complain about! Because YOU will feel SO GOOD, about YOURSELF..

This is my first time hearing the full version, I wasn't very old when this came out, probably only about 4 so I don't remember it coming out but in the last few years I've got really into dance music and I've heard the like, radio edit, didn't realize there was a longer version till now, but this is definitely now one of my favourite dance music pieces. Shame dance music like this isn't played in clubs much now (obvs all clubs closed atm but when they are open).

I remember Judge Jules bringing his missus down to Cream, to do a P.A. for this song. She was awful and got booed out of the DJ box. Thankfully, he played the tune, in its entirety, to a packed Main Room. It’s still one of my favourite trance tunes, and takes me right back to the Main Room dance floor, reaching for the lasers, holding on to some random hands, eyes closed and lost in the moment. Happy, happy days.

@@doctordank Funny you've come and listened to the track on KZbin and then said this song only got played so much cos Judge Jules was basically corrupt flogging a cr@p song on his show to bail out his wife. So, maybe it would help if you realised he made the fkin music and she sang on it. And maybe you should think how bloody awesome this track is, and that maybe that's why it got played so much. He made an absolute belter of a track and his wife sang on it. Maybe he was proud of it and his Mrs, rather than thinking bad of people and writing it on comments.

They should redo this song & bring the vocals up a few Octaves & i like what her voice does but like the bridge in a song it's good to climb into something then make the little spirtz & accents that shine n sparks enhance what already is existing, I'm just a aspiring musician so i'm looking for certain elements that can do some pretty awesome roller-coaster rides, that's what i've learned about music that there is endless combinations & my music friends love what i bring to the table but i've only begun this journey!
