Hi, it's april 2nd 2022 here in Antwerpen, Belgium. I'm 48 and I've known this tune since it was composed... My beloved friend Bib has left this life ... His lovely wife played this, one of his favorite tracks at his funeral last saturday. It brought tears to his closest and oldest friends because of all the memories it brought back of a magical era in our youth that we shared with him. Heavy contemplations. I wish you all a prosperous life and lots of love. He would have loved those words. Wouter.

Why don't they make Trance music like this anymore? I mean we can still have Uplifting Trance and Tech Trance but why not also have Progressive Trance like this? The melodies were more magical, the music took you away. You could get lost in the music and drift away into dreamland. Hopefully as dance music evolves they'll bring back this beautiful style of Trance.

If you just played a trance song to someone who's never heard it before, chances are they won't like it. It's such a pure form of music that you feel through the length of a track as it evolves, that's why they're 8 mins long sometimes. The melody doesn't just hit your ears, it goes through you.

You need training to like trance, because of how long it takes to get to where it's going to. The thing I suggest is starting someone new off with a good mix album, or if you don't have as much time, deadmau5 - HR 8938 Cephei or Delerium feat. (like Adana Twins - Strange) or Bones - Electric love or... The Veils - Low lays the devil became a producer... (soundtrack editor) - had a hard drive crash and lost 2TB of data in a 3TB HDD crash; (it happened in the week I was looking for a backup solution) the flame got extinguished a bit.... in the sense I didn't wanna touch my keyboard again because of the bad psychological anchor that I had and it reminded me of how much I lost; listening to this tune, man..... feeling the shivers on my skin again.... I realize the flame can NEVER BE EXTINGUISHED!!! (Reply to this message if you're curious about my soundcloud... I don't want this message to be a promotional one... just a confession.)

I was 18 when i heard this , there was no discrimination as such called house, electro, Dub Step, Lounge, .. it was simply called Trance .... Overall Reggae is known to be the father or all genre including the Rock and Pop apart from all the other Genre that I mentioned above. Country is 2nd to Reggae from which most acoustic and alternative Rock band came from .... Love This Track...takes me back to my teenage....those were the days
@Buderbukz10 жыл бұрын
Clearly its not House or Dub-Step, they sound completely different. Electro is fairly generic term since so many styles fall under the umbrella of Electro. Lounge.. meh maybe, yeah I can see why some would call it that. Trance yes...but even that is vague since there are so many Trance styles. This style is more Trance Dance to be precise, club music basically, but Trance non the less. The truest Trance styles are the Goa/later Psy Trance styles variants and the absolute best, my personal opinion.
@kevindomasik45310 жыл бұрын
Buderbukz what a load of ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
@andreasskouloudis695810 жыл бұрын
Kevin Domasik Agreed. Trance Dance? There is no such a thing. The sound is Trance. All variants of Trance are Dance music.
@Buderbukz10 жыл бұрын
Then clearly you guys don't know truest "trance" which is the Goa/Psy Trance styles. Argue all you want lol. And btw I back that claim also based on history, GOA is much older than this style!
@rowwhit10 жыл бұрын
Buderbukz What r u trying to prove by saying that Goa is much older than this style??? so in that case Egypt, Harappan Civilization is much older than any Goa, so does that prove that Every music is Egyptian Trance or Egyptian POP or Egyptian Rock....lol. and there is no such thing called as Goan Trance, its Psychedelic Trance which We Indians refer to as Goan Trance.... and for ur info this are some other form of TRANCE ..... Uplifting, Progressive, Morning, Acoustic Electro etc etc but this are all sub Genres (segregated) or different form of TRANCE .... OVERALL GENRE is TRANCE!!
