I have always felt connected to GOD&HIS SON JESUS. ( OUR SAVIOR ).I am 64 yrs old. When my brother and I were very young our parents were alcoholics . They made us walk to a church that was half a mile from the house. The only reason though was they would have a free babysitter for about 1.5 hrs. The church was an Assembly Of God church or as we grew to know it , the ( HOLY ROLLERS).My brother & I were terrified every time we went because of the yelling , crying and screaming to the Lord. Untill I was in my teen yrs I considered myself a holy roller not knowing what it ever meant, but Alan & I pushed through untill we moved uptown then we went to a babtist church. Again a free babysitter situation. We had to wear our better clothes and I had to wear dresses or skirts. That's the way it was. When it came time to pray Alan and I stood up and started to pray and dance, but knowone else did? I think by then we were 9 & 10 yrs old. A very nice lady named Mrs. Clay took us aside and tried to explain it, but it was very confusing. So the following Sunday we were dressed in our best clothes which were hand me downs to begin with. When we got to church we waited outside for Mrs. Clay she made us feel like we were really something in God's eyes. How much he loved us how much he cared and watched over us at all times of the day and night. We thought that was the best thing anyone ever said to us. This guy GOD was gonna take care of us forever. Well our parents died when we were 19 and Alan was 18.They always locked us out so they weren't bothered with our noise. My brother would tremble when he heard loud noises. We stayed with Aunt Gladys off and on untill we both had married. Alan had 2 great kids I never had any kids and I was always so glad because I didn't want to raise them poor like we were. I was always asking GOD what to do and it seemed that he was always there. Not giving me what I wanted , but what I needed . As yrs passed I had been married to a really great guy and one day I woke up to find him dead lying right next to me. I started thinking why GOD was punishng me? Life became very lonely living day to day. But I had my brother and GOD. I thanked GOD that I still had Alan my brother was my world. Ten months later my brother killed himself by shooting himself in the head. I asked GOD why because I had always been a good person. Now I truly was alone. I lost 8 family and friends the only people in this world that loved me for me and I didn't have GOD anymore. I had lost him. I tried to kill myself with pills without success. When I came to 4 days later GOD told me I was here for some kind of reason? My life has always been a complete struggle , but only by the grace of GOD I am still here . Still waiting to find out why? I may never know, but GOD assured me I would see my loved ones again and I can hardly wait, but I will wait. GOD gave me life and only he says when I get to see my loved ones again. It has been one heck of a ride and I hope that Alan is waiting to show me the way and then I'm gonna kick his ASHES all over the ple ace because he left me alone, but I never ever ever have been alone because GOF is there, here and every where and he is for you also. 🌈🙏🌈 Not sure where this came from but felt the need to say these things. GOD IS.
