At first I was sceptical about Angelina Jolie portraying Maleficent but I immediately fell in love with her version of Maleficent and I love what they have done to the original story.

I was taken back by the performance of Mrs. Angelina Jolie as it was so compelling. She truly brought to life the character of Maleficent. Having began watching it I did not leave my seat. Everything about the movie flowed so effortlessly and so all the actors where indeed wonderful however for me Mrs. Angelina continues to be stupendous.

Love it. The movie made me cry and laugh. I felt so sad when she lost her wings. It made me hate Stefan. He got what he deserved. At first I was disappointed when Aurora didnt wake up after the prince kissed her. But when she woke up after Maleficent gave her a kiss, it was perfect. Im glad that Maleficent got her wings back and that her and Aurora got their own happy ending, as they should! Angelina Jolie was made to play Maleficent. She did a hell off a job.

Actually we have many talented American actresses who can pull off an amazing UK accent: Renee Zellwegger, Glenn Close, Meryl Streep, Gwyneth Paltrow, Elle Fanning..... among the men, Robert Downey Jr and Johnny Depp top my list. Too bad there are so many UK actors who arent' just as talented, and are terrible when they get to play American roles

I've hear a few americans who speak in the way she describes english accent. Do you think the interviewer, even with his accent, is "enjoying" the words? It's just not the accent, it's also intonation, mannerisms, etc...

In the original story, the "evil fairy" was not the main villain as Disney's Maleficent is. I'm not sure if she was described as ugly, but Maleficent is beautiful, even the 1959 one. Her green skin and horns are her charm 🖤

Absolutely amazing movie. I recommend any adult go see it. Don't be deterred by the PG rating. I personally think it was underrated considering the emotional and action sequences.

She talks about how her version looks like the original?? NO WAY IN HELL The original Maleficent had green skin, purple eyeshadow, a long pointy chin and also her costume was purple and black. Also Angelina's headpiece is also designed differently as well, it doesn't have the bat wings on the sides like the animated Maleficent does. So basically they redid the costume and changed it.
