The truly amazing thing about Angie is that every performance, at every age, sounds like some from a mature seasoned singer. But comparing Angie’s voice here at 13 vs. her newest performances at 15, you can hear the growth and added maturity. AJ will be the Diva of Divas when she is in her 20s!

There's so much in this song! You'll hear a lot the first time, the vocal fry, the soft vibrato, highs and lows, but then there are some hidden treasures too (in my opinion). For instance, how she sings "Don't quit loving me" in particular the "quit" about 1 min in. Marvellous! And the second time round at 2:39 just as finely done and she follows with "just start loving me" and here the "start" is so pretty too! Angelina can do magic!!

@@RustyShacklefordChannel I'm only a 3 month fan of AJs since I first heard her AGTC performances. I've watched all of your 130+ video list and now I feel as though I've been following her for years. To me it seems apparent that in quite a few of the videos whether with Ivan, Egil, or a backing track, we are seeing Angelina experiment with various genres, voices and techniques. And these are one or two take sessions where she leaves the imperfections, if they can be called that, in the video. That means that Angelina's normal is another's polished performance. It also suggests, that you ain't seen nothin' yet. As good as her history is, the first three Republic releases show impressive development. That's just my view from a newbie follower.

The connection people have to Angelina's vocals is usually pretty immediate, but there is so much Angelina stuff out there, spanning so many years, it can be hard to sort it out. I figured with a little up front info about her background, and an organized way to get through some of her massive library of work, a person can come out after 2-3 months, and feel like they have been following this journey for years. ...and hopefully they will have such a strong connection to Angelina (both as an artist and as a person), that they are sure to keep following her journey and supporting her for years to come.
