Angelina gives tribute to whomever's song she covers...She was born with a very unique voice, and in that sense, managing it, growing into it came very early for her. She isn't a cookie cutter, karaoke singer... Angelina is an ARTIST...With only a guitar, 🎤, and reading the lyrics she produces an interpretation that mirrors angst, disappointment laden with "shoulda, coulda" regrets... All without the need to belt her way through a song.. Angelina, even at this age, has mastered the ability to find the emotions the lyrics demand.. and she has the talent and voice to elicit tears from those of us who freely dive into her rendition... Angelina has shown listeners that tears are meant to be spilled in either sadness or joy... And so easily finishes the song sounding like a chirpy bird, smile and "Bye"...are you kidding me!!?😉 She has her way.. it has led to her standing at the door of SUPERSTAR... PEACE

Ivan Mendez was Angelina's (12y) guitarist in LA in 2018. In an interview with Alan Papier on his KZbin channel, Ivan told the story of how the cover's came about. In a nutshell "Angelina doesn't have a wish list of songs, she decides spontaneously if she likes a song. After hearing a song she says great song and has downloaded the lyrics. OK, well, let's start ". Then the cover was recorded in one take, Angelina sang the song here for the first time after her arrangement without rehearsing beforehand. 💯 *AJ* 💯

Adele writes writes beautiful personal songs and performs them magnificently. Angelina said Adele is an inspiration for her and when she covers Adele those covers are extra extra special. If you haven't listened to the original, you might feel the two sound very similar, but when you listen to them back to back, you'll notice many differences. Personally I find Angelina's voice warmer and richer and her singing does more for me. I agree she has a very versatile voice and at times I feel she is channeling the original artists while also adding a lot of her own uniqueness. The only thing to expect is to be surprised :-) Angelina has been hinting that new original music is coming very soon!! These sessions with Ivan Mendez were largely improvised. He would come and hang out with her and her family. In the evening they would quickly settle on a sunny to record, go through the score and record it in one take. Unless, according to Ivan, he messed up in which case more takes were required. Thanks and keep enjoying yourself!

Not only can Angelina probably sing the phone book and make it sound like a masterpiece, factor in that she is not singing in her native language and you can see in the video she is reading the English lyrics and doesn't miss a beat, still making the song sound emotional and seamless🥰

I'm with you...every song is a new experience. I think I could listen to her sing anything...the control she has over her voice is incredible. She's not 20 years old yet. She was on America's Got Talent singing with a contestant, it just seems like anything she just perfects in her own way. She sings in a very European style. The guitar player, Ivan Mendez, said in an interview he had difficulty playing for her because she was so good it was distracting to him. He couldn't believe he was playing for someone that good. You see this in his reaction and even losing his place a time or two. And it's really understandable. Her voice and vocal control are so disarming.
