Even though the audio is not great, this extremely emotional version is still my favorite version of this song. I can only hope she re-records this song with the professional audio/video of Republic Records. We need a new Christmas album from Angelina for next Christmas, after the release of her debut album next summer.

That's right!...Angelina arrives, barefoot, almost running, puts the glass on the ground, takes the microphone and kills the song...a pinch of jazz, vocal embellishments here and there made in Angelina and here is a beautiful song becomes, despite a poor audio, wonderful .... phenomenon! Great reaction. I think of all of Angelina’s Christmas songs, this one shows a unique characteristic that Angelina excels at. Her phrasing and slower tempo transforms this song into something totally different from the original. It’s as if it were a new song, not merely a cover. And as alway, the decisions she makes in creating this transformed song are ALWAYS perfectly done. ❤️👣

I'm pretty sure AJ has always worked hard to master songs and polish and complement her skills, but there is some natural musicality in her singing that is astonishing. She feels exactly what she can do with just any syllable to sing it tasteful. Either by adding notes, bending the note (up or down), make it unexpactedly softer or louder, add vocal fry ... you name it! Maybe I should say "to my taste", but seeing reactors and comments I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one! Those "flavors" indeed make the songs many times far more interesting than the original! More awareness of the lyrics, more emotion, more beauty!

This might be my favorite Christmas song performance of all time. If only we had a better quality recording of it. She performed this a year later in a quite different, longer version, which included the fast refrain missing here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iKDUgZSGnLqdqtk So from the structure of the song that was closer to the original than this one, though quite a bit more jazzy. Unfortunately, the sound quality is lacking as it was here was well.

Angelina’s voice has warmth. M C’s voice is crisp and clear as well as Loud. An entire 12 song album would hurt my ears from MC or Dimash. My old ears don’t do well in the dogs ear range.
