My phone is locked in on the still version and everywhere I go I tell my friends (and strangers!!!!!), "You gotta listen to this!" EVERYONE, I mean EVERYONE is STUNNED when they listen to it. It's like they can't believe what they just listened to. Of course, I fill them in on a little data about her after the song is over. 🙂 I am starting to run into people who know who she is more than ever before so there is no question, things are starting to move ahead full blast. And this 'song of the year', 'Bad Valentine', will push her over the top! I'm so happy for all the people who will discover her in the next couple of months. Their lives will change. They won't know it at first but their friends, family members and business acquaintances will be telling them, "I don't what is exactly going on with you but something is different about you and I like it!" This is just me but I find her slower softer stuff to be simply sublime, I wish she did a few more songs in her concerts a bit more down tempo showing off her wonderful control and jazz influenced timing, also it would give her a breather between the power ballads. To me she has always been at her best with a minimal amount of backing and soft yet powerful vocals. We get to hear everything and it is truly the best.
