I don't know how long this will be public. KZbin initially blocked it. I disputed the block. They upheld it. I then appealed the block. For some reason, the instant that I appealed, KZbin made it public. I have no idea whether or not it will remain public. I assume that depends upon the results of my appeal. I haven't seen this performance with the golden buzzer for over a year now. Could it be that the golden buzzer performance is the one you're attempting to upload? Angelina Jordan is the finest female vocalist to ever live. There has never been another with her combination of talents. She is a gift to us all. Our barefoot Princess, of a thousand voices, the Queen of Jazz. She was already very well known before she came to American and performed here. The show had been attempting to get her to perform for a couple of years because they knew she would boost their ratings for the entire season. She and her family would not sign the agreement that, if she should win, she would be contracted to Simon's entertainment company known as Syco. Finally, the show relented and agreed to let her perform without the contract stipulation. She comes from a well-off family and unlike most contestants on this show, money was not a reason to be there but to get her recognized in the US. She could not win however because Syco would then not have a new contracted artist for that entire year. Consequently, Angelina did not win. She is now 18, and signed with Republic Records, she and her family now reside in LA. She is only now being promoted as she is mature enough to handle the stresses of the music business. Furthermore, she is incomparable, as you will find. Many try to compare her to others, but after a while, they just stop comparing! You will never forget this day you heard her for the first time. From her audition on Norway’s Got Talent (2014 - age 7 - Gloomy Sunday "Billy Holiday") through the final on America’s Got Talent The Champions (2020 - age 13 - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road "Sir Elton John") and the 130+ videos in between you will not be disappointed. A barefoot princess with a hypnotic voice. Born Angelina Jordan Astar on January 10, 2006 in Oslo, Norway to her Norwegian mother, Sara Astar and her Swedish father, Gerry Christian Slattman. Angelina started singing around 18 months of age, after listening to Whitney Houston on KZbin. She quickly became obsessed with listening to music videos and her maternal grandmother, Mery Zamani got Angelina interested in classic jazz. Mery Zamani is Iranian and was a prodigy as an artist and poet while growing up in Iran. Angelina attended the Oslo Waldorf School and participated in the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts after-school program, where starting around age 4, she had training in music but no vocal training. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Oh boy, you are going to be bombarded by her fans called Angels that will fill you in on this music prodigy with an old soul from Norway. She's basically been a star since she was 7 years old. Angelina has always made changes to each song she covers and often her version is preferred over the original. The pandemic hit shortly after her performances on AGT and likely caused a change of plans by her family, most notably her Uncle Michael who is her manager. Her family agreed to a contract with Republic Records in August 2020. Republic Records declared Angelina Jordan their highest priority new artist. Reportedly her family requested Republic to allow her as normal a childhood as possible and therefore have yet to fully promote her. During the pandemic, Angelina was often seen buying meals for the homeless on the streets of Los Angeles. In November 2020, Angelina released “Million Miles” which she wrote after the passing of her beloved maternal grandfather. She dedicated the song to anyone who has ever lost a loved one. Angelina had previously released, 3 other original songs: “What is Life”, “Oslo” and “Shield” In April 2021, her original “7th Heaven” was released. A jazzy, danceable, inspiring song. Angelina had concerts in Norway in July 2022. In December 2022, Angelina performed at the Asian American Awards in Los Angeles. On 2/27/23, Angelina performed at the FIFA Awards ceremony in Paris, France, with a viewing audience in the millions. Personally, Angelina is a great human being and her music came into my life when I needed it most. Her music has improved the quality of my life more than I can express. I now introduce her to as many people as I can, with the hope her music will do the same for others. We know once her family believes the time is right and allows Republic Records to fully promote her, she will become the superstar she has always dreamt and believed she would be. Angelina has been writing songs since she was 10 years 0ld - So far 12 have been released: Oslo, What is Life?, Shield, Million Miles, 7th Heaven, Love Don't Let Me Go, Now I'm The Fool, Fire and Rain, All My Fault, Good in Goodbyes, Diamond, and Our Time. Angelina has stated that she has written about 100 songs that have yet to be released. Her songs are taken from her Journal writings. When she was 10/11 she rewrote the Lyrics to Amy Winehouse's Back to Black and Rehab to make them more age appropriate at that time.

This girl will send you down memory lane on music you have heard before(like for me). She got over 200 covers and like 15 original songs and they are all great listening. I saw her live and best concert ever knocking out Springsteen, Rolling stones, Kiss etc. She has a delivery of music i have never heard before. I voted for her win in 2014, because she was amazing at 7 (winning after turning 8) and she got 46% of all votes given in the final. You should watch them as an early start of the journey.
