Hey Kids, this is one of my favorites. Her vocal control, which has always been beyond her years, is now as good as I've ever heard it. This young lady is a rocket ship to the moon. She has had one goal for her life and that is to be a Super Star. Can you imagine having the goal of your life decided at 3 years old? Then never wavering and having the work you do build on itself never making a misstep as you move towards that goal. And in that process of becoming your dreams you also remain an entirely humble and gracious human being. Angelina is a marvel of the universe. I am so glad you are following her. Oh, a hint, to make sure you pick a song that is great to listen to, find a list of her songs, tack it to the wall, get a dart and throw it at the list. Whatever the dart hits will be a vocal performance worth listening to and reacting to. Thanks for all your work getting these reactions out to us.

It must be inspiring to be a young woman and to watch Angelina, herself a sweet soft spoken young girl, use the power of her music to bring such joy to so many people and to command such respect and to be honest, adoration. Maybe because I listened to Adele first a thousand times, I like her version better. I love Angelina. I agree, she is a world-class talent, but I'm really hating the way everybody is talking about Adele. She wrote these beautiful lyrics and set the melody for these songs, and Angelina wouldn't even have the chance to sing these if it wasn't for Adele. Also, Adele is so very humble about all of this and gives us Angelina tons of praise on her covers. Check out a Million Miles by Angelina Jordan if you haven't already. It's her original songs with her original lyrics, and it's absolutely beautiful. Especially the studio version

If you watch closely, especially her shoulders, she feels the music with her entire body. She is so good that I believe she will rewrite Music History and become a Music Legend.. Adele is one of the best. But nobody can emit the emotion and soul of a song like Angelina. I think she reads the lyrics first before listening to the song. In this way she can understand the feeling and emotion the artist wants to convey. Then she arranges it to be able to dramatically convey the feeling and emotion to us. She takes iconic songs and makes them Angelina songs. Her vocals, tones and smokiness do the rest. She is already The Greatest of All Time! Just amazing!!

“Easy On Me” is great because the finest vocalist of our time has chosen to perform it, Angelina Jordan. Angelina Jordan has the ability to take the mundane and make it spectacular. If I were a song writer, I would be beating down AJ’s door. Adele wrote this song for her son, to explain why she divorced his father. Both Angelina and Adele are under contract to Republic Records and AJ came out with this cover within 1 to 2 days of the release by Adele.

Thanks for another great reaction to & appreciation of another masterful performance by Angelina - this time of a great Adele song. While both Adele & Angelina have beautiful voices, what differentiates Angelina is her innate GOD given ability to also emote the essence of each song she sings direct to our hearts & souls - allowing us to also deeply FEEL her music as it flows through her. She has done several other Adele covers - including A Million Years Ago. I think what makes that performance so special is that since it's just Angelina with an acoustic guitar accompaniment, her beautiful voice stands out even more.Thank you. Angelina started being my favorite singer when she was 10…..scarily good as she was out singing half the industry by then. I of course will watch anything she does. I’m not a big metal fan, an acquired taste, but I love watching your fun reactions to it so much that I watch these bands with you anyway. Maybe I will come to a larger appreciation of it. 😀 BTW, I often notice Angelina seems to shy away from standing directly beside people in a lot of pics of her. I wonder if she is slightly embarrassed at her height. Even by the time she was in this video she was near six foot tall. I think I read she is pushing 6’ 1” now??? That height has graced her with a set of singing equipment that has wonderful resonance and depth. By the time she has reached her full maturity in her voice her lower register will probably be incredible. Note: You can see her height in her original song, “7th Heaven”, music video when she is dancing around in a kitchen scene with a barmaid. She towered over the barmaid…..and I think she was 14 still then.

If she were at all self-conscious about her height - which is often exaggerated and I think is most likely 5' 11" - I don't think she would wear high heels and a head of hair that together at about a foot to her height ! You see her often standing beside people, it's not a problem for her (see her latest tiktok for example with the actor from the Elvis movie )

She is 14 at this time, and AJ came out with this performance 2 days after it was released by Adele. Bothe AJ and Adele are under contract with Republic Records. Rob Christie Playing Piano: That dude playing the piano is Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California, and he has been working with AJ since she signed with the largest record company in the world at the age of 14, two years ago. Rob was the MC of AJ Christmas Show that aired Dec 23, of 21. AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of 21 had some of the most important musicians of our time: Frank Sinatra's drummer for 6 years, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field has won 9 Grammys, and the bass player, Chuck Berghofer who also played for Sinatra for 6 years, and toured with Barbara Streisand, accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. The main pianist, a five-time nominated for Grammys, Shelly Berg, stated in all his years working with the greatest vocalist, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Did I forget to mention Jimmy Z, the famous Sax Player who worked with Rod Steward, Etta James, the Eurythmics, and Doctor Dre, was part of the band for the show? Adele is an awesome songwriter but at times I find her voice to be shrill. Angelina has the warmest, richest tone I have ever heard and her voice has a positive physical effect on me. It is like being wrapped in a warm blanket which is the name given to a podcast about Angelina, hosted by Alan Papier and Pontus Osterlin. This Thursday, November 24, they will premier a documentary about Angelina's early years. I hope to see many angels there.

I certainly was of that opinion for a long time, but as I became more familiar with her voice, it slowly dawned upon me that among other things Angelina's tone was far richer than Adele's. You guys are so enjoyable to watch and listen to that I keep coming back for more. Adele is a huge influence of Angelina's in addition to many other legends, and Angelina with her thousand voices can adapt to very well to that of Adele. She certainly generates the vibe but she is her own voice still. I think the song is autobiographical for Angelina has perhaps she didn't have the time to choose what she chose because she was so young. She certainly found her way but her family has gone easy on her and she's doing it at her own pace. This is how Angelina performs adult songs by taking lyrics and interpreting them based on events in her own life. Thank you for providing links to Angelina's social media and to the original video. Yes, Angelina is very close to her family and her Grandmother who is her artistic muse. The relationship of late is tinged with a thread of sadness as her Grandmother has had multiple health scares that started a couple of years back with some sort of cancer and hospitalization/surgery in September 2021. As you're probably aware she lost both her grandfather's already and wrote Million Miles ostensibly as a reaction to that and loss in general. One would hope her Grandmother and she get as many years as possible together.

Another wonderful performance by Angelina. I'm very sure Adele knows who Angelina is and can you imagine what she thought the first time she heard her sing one of her songs? She must have quietly uttered to herself, "OMG!" Pausing might be something you have to consider but if you don't it's certainly a nice touch to not interrupt Angelina's performance. If you feel, perhaps, you might lose your audience as soon as the song ends, do not fear. All of her 'angels' will stay with you and listen to your comments. By choosing to listen to her and expressing such nice comments you have become part of her extended family and we are so glad to have you aboard with us on her musical journey. And, isn't it wonderful to see a family with so much love for one another? The whole Angelina 'package' is something which inspires us to be the best we can be as kind, caring and loving individuals, as well.

All current recording artists had better be concerned that when Angelina chooses to cover their songs she takes ownership of them. Her vocal arrangements and subsequent stunning performances are almost always better than the original artist’s are. As talented as Adele is as a singer and song writer, I much prefer to hear Angelina’s rendition of Adel’s songs.

Great to see you both back again with Angelina. She just embodies Adele’s songs. Adele is currently rehearsing for her big residence in Las Vegas and she says she is quite nervous for it. I think she should invite Angelina to duet a few songs with her. She did a duet with Bruno Mars that would be fantastic to hear with AJ and her. this video came out about 1 year ago, so Angelina was 15 here. thing about this video is, Adele released her album and this song and within just a couple of days Angelina released her cover. Adele finally saw this video and was a bit miffed that Angelina was so good !!! lol. someone filmed her reaction, a very short reaction, but still yet. Adele looked into the camera and said "Angelina, we need to talk girl ". lol so yes, Adele has seen it.

Angelina released this recording within two weeks of Adele releasing the original. Adele makes amazing personal songs and is an incredible performer. Angelina said she is one of her inspirations and when she covers Adele's songs they are extra special. I understand to feel that they sound alike. However if you listen to both back to back, you will notice Angelina's voice has more depth and warmth. I prefer Angelina's version as she makes me feel it more. That's just my preference. Enjoy your burrowing into the rabbit hole, it is a really nice hole though, a Hobbit hole of a rabbit hole :-)

Please... Angelina's rendition has somethings different from the original artist... While there are similarities, Angelina demonstrated the main foundation of what sets her APART ... EMOTION... pure, raw, sincere and soft vulnerability... The original artist is known for singing songs straight out LOUD and PROUD... Angelina USES her vocal instrument to create beautiful color and variety of vocal ornaments... I dunno Grandpa, she's WAAAAAAY beyond her years and if you were to listen to something current (she'll be 17 yrs old in January... You'd say she herself has matured in age, but "more comfortable with the English language" is confusing... She does still have a slight accent, but the British have theirs regardless of comfort speaking it... BTW, Angelina speaks 4 languages and performed in Japan, singing Japanese 🤔 Like many others who listen to Angelina covers of this singer, and eagerly wait and want it to be a copy of the original... I recommend you don't get your hopes up to hear that from this Angel... She's not a singer, she's an ARTIST with the talent commonly categorized as Prodigy... And she was already speaking English as a toddler... Adele is great, but as a non-jazz singer, when it comes to heartfelt ballads, there is no way she can match the emotion laden penetration of Angelina, for Angelina is 'rooted' in the jazz genre. Because she is a 'vocal chameleon', you can hear the essence of Adele's vocals here, but Angelina also incorporates the 'breathy', 'whisper- like' inflections she learned from Billie Holiday, as well as the 'slurring' and mid-sentence 'key' changes Amy Winehouse was famous for. Have never heard what sounds like four superstar singers participating in an individual song before. It is the most intricate, complex rendition of a song that I've ever experienced. Video expert analyzer Andreas Grussl breaks down both singers in his video 'Is This Better Than Adele?' In section by section he shows why Angelina's presentation is superior. In addition he shows how this young girl actually 'out belts' Adele in the power section of the song. Keep in mind, her lungs have not even matured totally yet.
