Here is a quote from Angelina (7y) from an interview with TV2 after her Audions NTG 2014. "The reason I chose this song is completely random. I love jazz, but" Gloomy Sunday "was random. It was a night I could not sleep and my mother was stressed that I was awake long after midnight. Then I borrowed my mom's iPad where I wanted to listen to jazz on KZbin before I fell asleep. Then came a picture of a beautiful lady screaming at the sky and with her eyes closed. I heard the song "Glommy Sunday" that night and then I had to hear it every day. I love the melody. I understood well what the text was about because I know English well. Every time I sang it I felt something special about it, it's hard to explain in words. When I sang it for mom, she said that this song is nice, but that it was incredibly sad song. " ♥👣👸🏻

My dear, her love is in your heart and it will never leave you. Yes her voice is so beautiful and soulful but it's more than that. A year before this appearance on Norway's Got Talent when she was 6 years old she was traveling in the Middle East with her grandma and they came across a young girl about Angelina's age who was sitting on the curb with a scale next to her. She was encouraging people to get weighed on her scale and then toss some money to her. Her parents were dead and she was trying to help support herself and a couple of siblings as well. Her feet were scarred and bloody. Angelina asked grandma if she talk to the girl. During their chat Angelina told her the girl she had to have shoes (she didn't own any) and she took off her favorite little boots and gave them to her. There is so much more to the story but, on the way home to Norway Angelina told her grandma she just couldn't get over the fact there are children in the world who don't even own a pair of shoes. She vowed never to forget that little girl and so decided at that moment to never wear shoes again when she performs in public. In this video you saw she was barefoot. She is now 16 and still performs barefoot. One last note about the conversation between the two girls: Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to do with her life. She said she wanted to be a doctor even though she thought that would be impossible. Angelina told her, "Don't give up. Don't give up your dream!" Yes, Angelina is a wonderful singer but also a very special human being and the soulfulness within her comes out in the form of love and our hearts cannot resist her. Her humbleness, kindness, caring and loving qualities are there to see and we feel all of it when she sings 'for us'.........
