The hardest thing ever is to do a cover of a song, and to do it with such a passion to do the song justice. but both of these qualities Angelina got, and can also exceed expectations, with the right manager, and the right songs, then I can see Angelina going all the way to the top, and hopefully exceeding what Whitney managed to do herself in her lifetime. This song has become one of the most under appreciated songs of all time. It's purpose has been merely for singers to show off whatever vocal range they may have. Singers try to hit the highest notes possible using this song disregarding what the song is all about. Angelina has none of that. In this performance she gave "I Have Nothing" the proper appreciation that it deserved. She sang to tell the audience the story of the song. She made us feel the song personally.. And yes, she looks like our young majesty here. What more can I say.

All want to compare to the bodyguard version which was a full on sound booth production with no telling how many overlays. Lol , love the song and love Whitney but the expectations for someone in a live performance to duplicate that is almost impossible if you think Whitney sang it perfect everytime look up her Brazil concert performance . As a musician I can tell you Angelina sang the song exactly as she wanted. It's naturally in her DNA. So many things going on. As a professional voice coach mentioned, the vibrato within a run, her attention to the camera, singing down on the high notes, so much more. All these are expected of a mature artist. For Angelina, it's amazing she is at this high level at such a tender age. Not to mention the emotion she invokes to the listener. She's a once in a lifetime talent.
