Its nice to see her at this jazz festival letting it rip. You cannot have listened to her Elvis cover of SUSPICIOUS MINDS its spectacular its my new favourite( the antique shop version wearing Elvis style black leather jump suit and red guitar) she dust off the old classics and re imagines them so they are just as relevant today.

AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of 22 had some of the most important musicians of our time: Frank Sinatra's drummer for 6 years, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field has won 9 Grammys, and the bass player, Chuck Berghofer who also played for Sinatra for 6 years and toured with Barbara Streisand accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show that aired Dec 23 of 21, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. The main pianist, a five-time nominated for Grammys, Shelly Berg, stated in all his years working with the greatest vocalist, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Did I forget to mention Jimmy Z, the famous Sax Player who worked with Rod Steward, Etta James, the Eurythmics, and Doctor Dre, was part of the band for the show? Jimmy stated that AJ was the best he has ever played for. Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California played the guitar, and was the MC of the show. Rob has been working with AJ from the very 1st day Republic signed her at age 14. (I can't list the complete backgrounds on all the band members because it would take several pages to do them justice.)

At 16 years old, she is the best thing that has happened to music is my 75 years of experiencing the best in the business, you are in for the ride of your life if you listen to her 140, or more recordings. She has been performing since she was 7. There is nothing like her in the universe.

Angelina’s voice and her total being is like an ocean wave or soft summer breeze that takes you in and rushes you to places you have rarely experienced. Your heart rate increases, you find it difficult to catch your breath, chills and shells engulf you. You are now addicted to Angelina Jordan the finest story telling vocalist I have ever experienced.

Great reaction! Of course, this 1973 song wasn't tailor-made for her. But I believe Angelina's versatility, experience, and vast array of vocals tools that she can bring to bear makes it possible for her to take this and any number of songs and make us think they were made for her when it is Angelina that is adapting not only the arrangement but her voice to bring us history.

Will do, as long as you and others request them in my Google form in my description.... I pull all of my reactions from that form! It is extremally hard to remember where requests are in the comments....as I said fishing is only fun when you know where the fish are, lol! In a lot of the reactions, they stick their foot in their mouths just because they feel they must say something to sound knowledgeable. Just say that was amazing and leave it at that.

She certainly updated this song. I wonder if it will be on an album or something in the future. At age 16, she's doing a great job of increasing her vocal abilities, making old songs current, and finding her way. She's always been shy, so it is great to see her coming out of that and engaging with the audience more. Her family was amazed that so many travelled from all parts of the world to hear her. 💜 Thank you for reacting.

She arranges all of the songs she does, even when she was a very little girl. Her jazz and blues influence definitely fits this style of song She was so happy to be in front of a crowd again and was brought to tears when she spoke the audience when she told them how much she missed doing live concerts. So many people who went to see her Norway concerts have said that she sounds even better live, which many were surprised and couldn't believe. I can't wait to see her live! On a side note, you have a stupid troll down in your comments section called NobelPrize who goes from one Angelina reactor to another leaving negative comments and says other singers are better than her. We Angels know of this person and we are not sure why he's doing this, maybe jealous that she's been getting a lot of attention and not his favorite artist? Who knows? In this particular «mix», yes, because the bass is largely missing. In better recordings, it is easier to appreciate how tight the band was on this number. With the bass considerably louder, those busy drums made for a funky vibe that worked wonderfully live.
