Between songs she may seem a bit lost for words and nervous at times, (she is getting much better at that) but when she takes that mic and begins singing something magic happens with her. She is in heaven, in total command--scanning the crowd, smiling, waving, while staying totally immersed in the song. I feel she is connecting with all of the Angels as she is so emotionally driven while on stage. The wonderful thing about that is it's a 2-way street so we get to join her in her world and for that time, that precious time, none of your troubles can enter that world---and I thank her for those moments.

Hello Lou, yes that's Angelina who is just as good and better live than in the studio, she doesn't need AutoTune or any other gimmicks to improve her voice, I have other artists who are in the mainstream and get a lot of money but they sound terrible live, I love our AJ and I'm glad she exists, I hope to see her live here soon, greetings from Germany

For me there’s no question I prefer her singing live..everything she does is next level but listening to her live performances adds so much intimacy and I can sense the electric connection between her and the audience…she’s a special talent t for sure.

These concerts in Norway were Angelina's return to the stage from the covid break.

It has been said that Angelina is one 3 artists in the biz that can walk in studio lay a track down in one take and not use anything. The others were Sam Smith and Beyoncé. In my opinion a real singer, a classic singer, one who is capable to sing no matter what. Check out her garage or outdoor acapella's from tic tocky here on YT. She also did everything she could to hold herself together for this particular song and its meaning. Im sure being back home in Norway was bringing up major memories! 0 =)

There has always been discussion and disagreement about whether fans prefer the studio version or this concert version which has been slowed down. Personally I like aspects of both. I prefer the little bit faster pace of the original version although it could be slowed down just a bit. However the belting In this version is second to none and I wish I'd been there to hear it!

Hi, Lou! Thank you for another excellent and thoughtful reaction to Angelina. She wrote this song s a tribute to her maternal grandfather, who died in 2019. There re several versions of the song on KZbin but this is the first one in which she slowed the tempo down which, in my opinion, adds to the emotion of the lyrics. Angelina is a master at grabbing one's emotions in such s way that it becomes possible to confront trauma in our lives which we may have repressed for years.
