This performance is beyond epic. The original artist was James Brown, and he was smiling ... some of us who were fortunate enough to attend this concert saw the setlist a short time before the concert, and I was so excited to see It's a Man's World on it. The last time Angelina performed it was in 2018, 2 performances that themselves are the stuff of legend. This time, she used her 18yo power and vocal maturity to raise the song to yet another impossible level. No one else around today sings like Angelina.

Her versatility excellence cannot be matched by any singer past or present. She's what I called a 'Vocal Chameleon', beginning very early in her career as she displayed this ability to emulate the vocals of other A-List singers. Her enormous 'high to low' range plays into this 'chameleon' ability, allowing her to concentrate on emulating the vocals of so many well known artists.

Outstanding reaction Liz! Many singers have done great covers of this song, Christina Aguilar performed this at the Grammys a few years ago that was great, but nobody has the voice and grit to sing this song like Angelina! Magnificent performance, the ending was the cherry on top! Have a Joyful and Blessed New Year Liz! You just reacted to her I'll Always Love You, the contrast shows us that our Barefoot Princess can sing anything and sing it with passion that makes you feel the song! In this concert she also sang both versions of her song Bad Valentine and a stripped down version of her song Thank You, that hasn't been officially released yet, that she sang at her September 20th concert! Hi Liz. I LOVE your reactions; you seem to get deep into the songs and your resulting reactions are so real, so unrestrained and so beautiful to behold. But to answer your challenge, I know of only one singer in the entire world who can do this song (or ANY song, really, even her own) better. That singer's name is Angelina Jordan. She keeps reminding us that she has no ceiling, no limits. Every single she performs a song and we conclude that it is so brilliant, so perfect that it cannot possibility get any better, she completely blows our minds and, impossibly, does it better.

Louisa Johnson, who I believe is the youngest winner of X-Factor worldwide so far, did quite an epic performance of the song at the finale of X-Factor UK at age 17: kzbin.info/www/bejne/maTTY6StrpWtnKM Though she had some chart hits in the UK with collaborations, she wasn't able to sustain that success. And I wasn't so keen about the songs the published afterwards. But she also started to work with Toby Gad this year; I really hope this continues, even though from the numbers that was no success yet. She sang for Toby's Piano Diaries album, and live at The Other Songs at the Palladium in London May 20th 2024, with Jesse J's Who You Are. That was recently released on the The Other Song's channel: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oGSvZmiHoq2jfKs That's the 2nd of Toby's performances they published from that event, so there is some hope, that we will also eventually get Angelina's If I Were a Boy from that day properly recorded (so far there's only fan-cams).

Something is wrong with Angelina's promo's, or lack of it. As great as she is in all these concerts, she is losing ground to lesser singers (in my opinion) At the moment it is Grace Vanderwaal, singing at big events, in front of thousands, meanwhile Kelly Clarkson sings one of Grace's "Hit" songs called "What's left of me" on her show recently. I was hoping that Toby Gad had influence to get Angelina on The Kelly Clarkson show to sing "BAD VALENTINE" IF this great song is not Angelina's "Breakout" song, then I have little hope for her future, and she is far too good to remain a small venue/club singer forever, Something has to be done. Perhaps start touring overseas where she is better known, and appreciated.

@@leebrn8588 Grace's bio seems super impressive, but she and her family clearly chose a different path than Angelina and her family. Looks like Grace is 2 years older, signed to a label at age 12, had an album out and has already been on several tours, AND has appeared in a couple of movies. I trust AJ&co to guide her career appropriately, in what is a very difficult industry.
