Many thanks to Boris Palenovski for recording this concert, albeit on a phone, as no recording equipment was allowed. This was a celebration with this Norwegian Armed Forces band for the release of her Album "It's Magic" recorded at 11 years old with this orchestra. That Album (Jazz album) has reached very high numbers over the years on the Jazz charts. She is a remarkable young lady and that Album is one of my prized possessions. Great reaction, Powell! Angelina was 12 years old here, like you said, singing live in front of a military band. And showing who's boss in the process. She's just an unbelievable singer, artist and human being. Btw, she has been collaborating with Toby Gad for a while, and they have produced original music together. Before that we will also get to hear her performance of "If I Were A boy" by Beyonce (written by Toby Gad). Toby has written a LOT of big hits for some of the biggest artists in the world ("All Of Me" by John Legend and also "Big Girls Don't Cry" by Fergie, just to mention a few). Her performance of "If I Were A Boy" will release on Mr Gad's album called "Piano Diaries" on May 31st. They have already announced at least ONE new original, and I assume there will be more coming, as the two seem to have a great chemistry. Stay tuned! (I will 😉) Much love from Norway ♥♥♥♥♥

There are a number of Angelina performances where we only have a fan cam recording like this one-and we are so lucky to have them. One of my favorites of these audience recordings is Angelina at 9 years old, I believe. There’s a small jazz band behind her for an outdoor concert, and she’s covering the iconic Etta James song, At Last. Her voice at this age has clearly not developed into what it will become, but we can watch this very young child give us true jazz-extemporaneous jazz singing from a young child who’s feeling it and delivering it. I’ve been surprised by what can be considered low numbers of subscribers.on all her social media platforms. Although over 900k is nothing to sneeze at you would think it would be well over a million by now. There may be a few reasons. One is that a large part of her fan base are older and may not be active on social media. Another reason could be that age hasn’t really been promoted yet. Also, her home country of Norway is relatively small with a population of only about 5.5 million. Although she has lived in America for almost 6 years she hasn’t broken out here on a large scale yet. Putri Ariani has well over a million subscribers but her home country of Indonesia has a population of over 275 million.

The Norwegian staff military band , this was they 200th anniversary . they recorded the album " its magic " with angelina performing all 16 songs aged 11 including 2 of her self written originals " oslo " and " what is life " most likely written at aged 10 .❤

Believe it or not, Angelina's "instrument", her larynx, vocal cords, etc. will not reach total maturation and development until about the age of 26 or 27. Think about it! Almost another decade before her physiologic instrument will be totally mature and developed!

I guess it's "Angelina's World"... I mean: when you are only 12 and can belt so hard in the open air that you can hear the echo? That is something, so to speak. This band is the staff brassband of the Norwegian Army. They have done more projects with Angelina, including all the instrumentals on one of Angelina's cd's. I think this concert had to do with the presentation of that cd (but I am not sure if I am correct now).

At the end, the camera zoomed out to show the outdoor venue and the distance between the stage and the audience. That's why the audio is less than ideal. As I understand it, no recording equipment is permitted at this location. And the album ("It's Magic", recorded in a studio prior to this event) was ready for release. So, if you want best quality, the album is still available.
