Hi Aron, This song At Last was performed the same night at the same charity she was at when she sang I'll Be There when she was sick. She not only had a cold she had a temp of 103 degrees, The doctors there didnt want her to perform, They asked her to come back in four month's when shes feeling better. Her mother even asked her to wait a few months, Angelina said no I gave them my word a year ago and Im not going back on my word. When her voice cracked in the middle of the song I thought , How many adults would run off that stage and never come back ? Many would. Angelina just went on to the next verse and finished the song like a trooper. God Bless her ! She earned that whole audiences respect that night . They all seen she was sick before the performance. They were an audience of rich folks and at the end they got out their check books and cut some big donations. It worked out better for the charity but Angelina went the extra mile. When I grow up I wanna be like her. Great reaction ARon .

You are the 1st reactor to go into such a deep dive into these early videos of Angelina. Very interesting, but of course it will take you years to catch up with where she is now. I don't know how you can resist sneaking a peek at where she is today, but more power to you. When I discovered Angelina 6 years ago, I went on a binge watching everything I could find of her performances for weeks on end & I only had to catch up to when she was 12.

When Jordan won NGT, the 80 thousand dollar prize was put in trust to be distributed to children’s charities when she reached 18 years old, which was this January 10th. I believe all of her performances were at events for charity and by the time she was 16, she had raised over 20 million dollars for children’s charities around the world. When she was asked to attend le bal des debutantes last November, Jordan only did so because it raised money for children’s causes. People are under the impression that her purpose is to become a global singing sensation , but her true purpose is to help humanity by becoming an advocate for the poor children of the world with the enormous wealth she will attain by becoming a huge worldwide superstar. Having been raised in a family of means, they have never had to use Jordan as a source of Income, as her father Gerry Slattman had a very lucrative job with the Norwegian Oil Company Statoil. Now that she’s turned 18, she can spend the money she received in the record deal with Republic Records as she pleases, and from the way she dresses, it looks like Jordan loves to shop for clothes. Pity the guy who marries her! lol!

I listened to Dimash sing hes supposed to be the best. It was great but after two songs, I said to myself, I heard enough it sounded the same perfect. Then I went back to Angelina's songs, I felt right at home. I can listen to her 24/7 and each song sounds beautiful and different with perfect imperfections as they say. I love the rasp, the richness, the vocal fry, the emotion, the passion. the whole package. and also being a great human being is icing on the cake. Shes the G.O.A.T. IMO

Yes, Angelina does not always give 100% in rehearsals. She just doesn't. She seems fixated on getting things right and practicing for her are more about the process and timing. She never seems worried about what a live performance will be like.

I’m one of the Angelina fans who also believes she’s at her best singing live. My favorite performance of At Last is an outdoor concert when Angelina is 9, I believe. It’s one of the times we’re lucky that we have a fan cam recording. She has a small jazz band behind her, and here we see without question a nine year old jazz singer. I’ve listened to her sing At Last hundreds of times-and this is extemporaneous jazz singing. She gives us a very, very pronounced pause between “the spell is……cast”. She does it twice, and I’ve never heard anyone sing it just that way. In the first song she’s within 3cents of pitch on every note. In the second song, she held that last note perfectly on the line! Her pitch accuracy is amazing for her age. I have a vocal pitch monitor, by the way.

And, i have yet to see a perfect live performance from ANY singer. EVER. So, yeah, little AJ, on this stage at age 8 is only as good as the very best the world has so far presented to us. Within a year or two of this performance she had morphed into, ... well, you'll see. The whole story will take decades to unfold and will be talked about, with reverence, for centuries.

Well done again, I was waiting for you to see this: " At Last,..." video with Angelina wich is wonderful and magical even if she is not totally in full capacity she finishes treating a cold however what she achieves is really fantastic and as you have it mentioned she is totally in her world we can see at the very end she has finished singing and she is still in her world we see her staring into space waddling from left to right, ... this performance is pure Angelina thank you for your comments very supportive .

One of many performances Angelina did around the holiday season in 2014. She had become a national treasure in Norway, and her family were very selective where and when she would perform. We know Angelina battled a cold during this time frame. No evidence of her being ill for this performance but it took place on December 13th, before catching her cold.

Last time I looked, there’s no such thing as a”perfect performance”. The only way to hit a note perfectly every time is to be a musical instrument tuned to 440hz and you can’t tune your vocal cords, as you know. All these people on here trying to make excuses for Jordan because they don’t think she’s “perfect” in this performance by saying she’s sick are really pathetic. No singer has ever been perfect in any performance ever and hit every single note right on the line. That’s how you know they’ve been pitch corrected or autotuned! The human ear can’t hear within 5 cents of the pitch being off anyway, so what sounds pitch perfect really isn’t. Freddy Mercury and Jordan are really close to hitting the pitch on almost every note. I downloaded a vocal pitch monitor and was that a real eye opener. So many singers use autotune even when singing live it’s disgusting! Billie Eilish, Miley Cyrus, the ones with actual talent, never use it. Most country artists (especially men) can’t sing without it, they sound like me lol! I realize you’re being hypercritical of Jordan for a reason, but be careful what you say about her, she has fans who believe she should be beatified and can do no wrong. I am constantly defending her to some of the lunatics and haters who have absolutely no idea how hard she has worked to attain the skills she has. Some people think she woke up or was born with this voice. 4-6 hours a day, every day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year since she was 3 or 4 years old she’s been training her voice with no formal vocal training, only on how not to damage her vocal cords. In primary school she was entered into an afternoon music program where she was taught how to deconstruct, rearrange, read music and to play the piano and the guitar, both of which she still plays. I hope this synopsis gives you some background information on Jordan’s musical education so you can better understand where her abilities come from, both inherited and educational.
