When a performance is this perfect, I can understand the cheering. You become so excited that you just can't hold it in. A performance just doesn't get any better than this. That was a well deserved applause. We may not enjoyed it, but I bet those three young artists loved every second of it. It told them they did it right. I absolutely loved it from the beginning to the end and the audience response to them even had me cheering.

This song (the original) comes on almost every morning on my 45 min commute to work and every time I wish they would play the Angelina (and Tyler) version instead. Its SO much better than the original! When Angelina turns on the power here it's positively spine tingeling.

Absolute great reaction to this splendid performance. I’m with you Brad, saying it’s great to see younger generation performer tremendously spectacular. This give at least me trust in the future. AJs take us back to the classic music that I’ve forgotten, and make this new and very relevant of today. AJ is showing us what a human voice can attain in form of depth, sole, and feel, with an ease (as it looks). When she start sing nothing else is then more important than listening. I hope she becomes a game changer to the mass production of standard pop music. Now we learned what can be achieved. Glad she didn’t sign the contract with Walt Disney.

Home Free were new to me, but when I first heard them, wow. Just wow. They are amazing. Not even using a single instrument, makes their performances out of this world. The low register from Tim Foust, is something I never have heard even close to. That is insane..

The bridge of that song is quite hard to hit really. Even the original singer does it in much lower key when he's singing it live. And seen some covers avoiding to go head on to that bridge. That's why Simon clap when Angelina just took it with precision power.

Brad, thanks for go back with another great reaction with Angelina. This performance maked, after the AGTC final, when everything had already been decided, is Angelina's fantastic reinterpretation of a moving and painful song by Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi, but is also (even by AGT standards, which are very self-promotional) a wonderful interpretation in which 3 artists, very different from each other, however integrate wonderfully, with a beautiful choral performance. Angelina's voice reading is, once again, surprising, certainly much emotional and powerful than Lewis's version, as usual ... it's normal. ❤️ 💛 😉 What she manages to insert harmoniously and sweetly, even in this interpretation, is incredibly unique! Brad if you want to listen to it, this version is recorded during rehearsals and you can hear the audio great kzbin.info/www/bejne/hWetqGB7ia1ko6M

Hi. There are several points about Angelina that I would like you to address (I am a musical composer). I tell you from my point of view and why they make this teenager (perhaps) the best singer of all time. 1) Plasticity. She can "imitate" any singer with her voice, imitating means having the ability to "absorb" from said singer colors, textures, musical smells, feelings, that's why I say that Freddie Mercury could only be Freddie Mercury but not Amy's textures Whinehuse or Elvis Presley and so vice versa. There is no singer of today, famous (Adele, etc) or in musical growth who has this capacity 2) humility. Absolutely all the singers at this moment personify the music, they create a show of everything they do, instead Angelina seems like a teenager who is continuously learning, practicing. How long is she going to practice? I don't know ... when she presents videos on KZbin and fans or haters admire or criticize they don't understand that she is only practicing, she is a girl who practices music, nothing more than that. I am impressed that she also practices when she is on stage, and it seems that she only does performances until now to give herself "little tastes" like going to AGT: SHE JUST WANTED TO SING HER IDOL Simon Cowell (AS SHE SAID IT) SING QUINCY JONES OR SING WITH THE NORWEGIAN BAND TO SHOW THE POWER THAT HIS SONG HAS (LITTLE LIKES THAT THIS GIRL GIVES HIMSELF IN LIFE) 3) There is something that very few Reactors have mentioned: she is continuously playing (if she is not the reincarnation of Elvis Presley I do not know what it is) I explain: at the moment she connects with some musicians of the orchestra and exchanges gestures, she often looks at the camera intently because she knows that someone is looking at her from this side, other times she is so possessed in the narration of the song that it is difficult for her to return to reality, it remains as in a strange state of regression 4) she is a musical teacher, she makes small corrections to the original musicians, without changing her style or original narration and she does it with n much respect. Be careful, to make a correction to composers like Freddie Mercury YOU HAVE TO BE VERY GOOD (in Bohemian Rhapsody he showed Mercury that his song would sound much more universal with his arrangements because the rock "wave" attracts more rock lovers or in GOODBYE YELLOW BRICK ROAD corrected Elton John's performance and perhaps - excuse the audacity - also correcting author Bernie Taupin's melodic line) 5) universality. Angelina Jordan has an ongoing obsession with making music for all ages. NEVER SAW SOMETHING LIKE THIS, a musician (in this case sings an author) who is obsessed with the fact that music stops being fragmented into styles. How to achieve this? making the important thing is the dimensionality of the song, a singer whose purpose is to teach that singing is not a gymnastics, singing is not an Olympic vocal chord tournament, music is not a stage show: MUSIC IS SIMPLY ONE BEAUTIFUL SONG TO SHARE. GREETINGS TO THE COMMUNITY (I write this not as a fan but as a lover of good music). By the way, she's 14 years old

You're misinformed on the sand artist. Her name is Kseniya Simonova, and she's a full grown woman (probably in her 30's). She competed on the first year of AGT Champions, and finished third, and she is considered one of the best in the world at what she does. The violinist is a 12 year old boy named Tyler, and of course Angelina is 13 in this performance. This was part of the entertainment on the night they announced the ranking of the finalists, when of course she got screwed by the stupid voting system on the Champions version of AGT. Most people consider this the best performance of the night. And I don't disagree. Angelina's performance of this terrific Lewis Capaldi song is about as good as it gets. I would love to see her cover this song alone. Thanks for reacting to the fabulous Angelina. Best wishes. 😊💕

I think the sand art, while interesting and pretty, was a big distraction. It caused the cheering, which drown out some of Angelina's singing.
@socket_error10004 жыл бұрын
This was a performance for the grand finale and while it had some distraction it was nothing compared to what her main singing competition had to endure. Poor Marcelito Pomoy had to sing "We Are the Champions" in front of a literal circus of acrobats and other odd acts. It was a disorganized and chaotic mess.
@djs20064 жыл бұрын
@@socket_error1000 I did not see the other acts. Perhaps, it is a test to see how the singer reacts to a distracting environment. We would not want to see the singer have a temper tantrum during a live performance. Just not a nice thing to do during a competition. Maybe the audience was told to cheer loudly at anything they liked.
@socket_error10004 жыл бұрын
@@djs2006 This (and Marcelito's) were not judged performances but just part of the final episode where they announced the winners. There is another version of this performance where someone has edited down most of the audience noise without distorting the performance.
@alipanroosendaal95034 жыл бұрын
There is a version of this without the crowd audio. Shame (for you) you didn't select that one. Meanwhile, (in reference to your comment on the original song) life is all about emotional ups and downs, and if you remove the downs from your consumption of the arts, that the impact of the downs in your real life will potentially be incrementally harder to work through, when they do occur.
