Bill Harford, yes to your description of her voice - it is distinct, though I think she actually still sounds like the person whose song she's covering: the first song i heard her sing was a Billy Holiday song and it was a very very close sound/phrasing - please know i am not taking this away from her own, I just think she'll grow into making her own sound.
