I have loved this song ever since I heard Dean Martin sing it as the theme song for his television show back in the 60s. I was just a kid, but I LOVED the song. Elvis recorded it in the late 70s and I loved his version too. But "Deano's" was my favorite. I had not heard it for many years so I decided to look for it on KZbin. To my surprise, the first video that came up was Angelina Jordan (who I had never heard of), not Dean Martin or Elvis. I almost passed her by in search of "my favorite", the Dean Martin version, but I remember being struck by her face and I thought, hmmm, this young girl looks SO sweet! I think I'll listen for just a minute, just to see what she sounds like. Then I'll find Deano so I can really enjoy the song. I started the video. As soon as I heard her voice I absolutely melted. On the spot. Immediately. And I mean I melted to a puddle. So rich. So smooth. So full. Pitch perfect. And then I found out she was only 12 YEARS OLD when she recorded it. 12!!!! NO, not 21! You're not listening! I said, 12!!! You and I both know it's NOT POSSIBLE for a 12-year old to sound like that! That was 10 months ago. She captured me at that moment and I've been under her spell (you know what I mean!) ever since. I listen to this amazing young lady every day and I still melt to a puddle when Angelina sings. As for Deano....Deano who??

I believe Jim released it in 1962, or thereabouts (I was 19). Then Elvis covered it in 1977, five months before he died. Now Angelina has given us another great cover of this beautiful song. @@shyba2011 It's not a mystery. Where her talents come from, from nature and luck. Every human has over 100 mutations most do nothing but some do something. Giver better smell, taste, eye sight, faster thinking, better space awareness etc. for her they gave better control over her vocal cords and sense of tempo etc. plus she has been working on that control technics hard, every day I think. So it's not a mystery where it came from. She is a great singer and pleasure to listen. I'm happy for her that she was born in a family that let her cultivate her talent and let her do what she enjoyed the most. She will bring happines and tears for decades to people. :)
