Charger probably need either 5V to middle contact or just - connected to that middle pin

I'd chop the battery positive and disconnect the balance leads to completely power down the BMS. Leave it for 10 minutes and reconnect.

I did try that, not sure if it was actually in the video, sadly it did not work :(

@@EbikeRepairs Bummer. I don't see a place for "smart" BMS. Just makes things less repairable and more to go wrong. They probably flick a bit in the microcontroller memory and game over. Off to landfill
