I remember I told the Ugandan family I was staying with that in the UK we have pineapples in a tin. They laughed so much, they thought I was crazy. They then felt sorry for me because it meant the pineapples were not fresh. Uganda has the best pineapples for sure

His favorite part in all of his visits was when we traveled to my village in south western Uganda to meet my family. The landscapes, the food and everything was different from what He's used to. We absolutely had a good time I was so happy to show him where I grew up😊

Oh my gosh! When it rained over in Uganda it was NOT a sprinkle of water. It was like someone continued to pour out Niagra falls. The wind would howl and the thunder and lightning was loud. It was like judgement day weather. I thought Jesus was coming back at that instant. It's best to accept Christ NOW! No joke. The earth was a beautiful red/ terracotta brown in Uganda also. Beautiful.

If u can drive safely in Uganda then u can drive anywhere 😂😂😂. The driving here is chaotic but it shocks me that road accidents aren't as rampant so that's good. Also the time keeping is awful for sure😂😂 But things u shud know; 1. If ur even remotely careless with ur phone u will reach home without one 2. The traffic is bad (but thats just because of the many ongoing constructions for better roads and flyovers so bear with us) 3. It rains alot more these days but wen its hot hydrate alot coz it can get too hot. 4. We eat mostly steamed food hence its healthy but i promise it tastes awesome 5. The fruits r to die for. 6. Very friendly pipo 7. Its actually quite safe for the most part. The police isn't reliable at all so if ur in a tough situation most times u have to depend on urself and the mercy of God 😂😂 8. There's alot to see here and explore. 9. The night life is the absolute best. * always travel with an open mind because new places won't be like wherever ur coming from.

@kathrynemmitt8625 Im from the US. Grasshoppers are eaten in the Southwest and West coast of the US (and probably in big cities elsewhere but IDK). Heck, in my city (one of the major West Coast cities) they sell them at MLB baseball games in the stadium alongside peanuts. They are called chapulines and are a traditional Mexican snack or topping. They are grasshoppers toasted/fried with seasonings like chile, garlic, season salt and lime juice. They are really good. You can find them anywhere theres a large Mexican population

Yes, more about community life, like a day in the life, if your neighbors want to be on camera maybe interview them. Foods always a good topic. Curious about what a typical home in your community is like , of course it would vary where your living but likeinside layout , what’s it made out of , who lives there :single family extended family. More hair videos, Ugandan culture , heritage. What sort of holidays do you celebrate . Day in the life explore my community series visit local places maybe interview local shop keepers and other people working in your community.

I dont know who they are but i am pretty sure i know why they went to uganda. I think those guys were missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I only think that because the first guy says “my first area”. They do get placed in different areas. Another clue is the first guy said “when i learned i was going to uganda.” These missionaries dont choose where they go on missions. The second guy also says “teaching” and thats what they do, the next clue is he says “making appointments”, thats what they also do. He also said “missioners” but i think he meant “missionaries.” They are good people and get sent all over the world! Its my theory though based on those clues. The last clue is “2 years.” Thats how long these male missionaries live there for. Women are 1.5 years.
