This is so beautiful. I absolutely love the scene when Jacob left and drove away leaving Marcus in deep thought and frustration but as he left, the headlights of the car shone onto Marcus and there were bits of faint light falling on his skin and at the edges of his hair, the sound effects were great too. It portrayed misery and beauty at the same time. I'm sorry for rambling, I just love details you see. 😂 I just want to congratulate you on such a wonderful film. Your content is really good. I honestly wish I could make short films like this. I'm awed by your talent with filmmaking. I watched 'Discovering creativity' a little while ago and can tell that your very passionate towards it. Keep doing your thing. I can picture you in Hollywood. Just don't forget the little people like me okay? 😂

Well done Dylan really enjoyed this film. Amazing cinematography for such a small budget and such as young age as yours, And I liked the ending. Some constructive criticism: heavily based dialogue and needed more visual storytelling, lots of unnecessary close ups ( although that might have been an artistic decision, although I felt it really was unnecessary), feel like it was to fast paced which didn't fit the themes, also remember mise en scene and the effect an image gives to an audience. But all in all really great film especially in the technical aspects ( I.e cinematography). And again Well done Dylan and the cast and crew!

This was pretty good. Two things though. When trying to create the sound of a voice coming through a cellphone, you should cut the low frequencies, not the highs (you can actually cut some of the highs and make it a little mid-ish but don't keep the low frequencies at all). The other thing is that the sound at 7:35 was clipped. Try and avoid that. I know this was quite some time ago but still.

Amazing story only complain foley at the beginning of the film felt weird and in the dialogue scene with the guy that saw the angel there was somebody in the glass reflection other than that i'm speechless aamazing
@DylanDelaney9 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I know. I removed me from the back Ina couple of the shots and then stopped. That's just how it is. And the foley was a bit rough but it has been two months and had to move in to better things. Had been in the phone with Adobe for two of those weeks just figuring out how to export the thing! Haha. Thanks again!

Very good cinematography, I do enjoy how you used dialouge in this, often when you watch a short film they overuse visual storytelling causing many akward pauses. But one thing, I didn't get the ending. (the rocks)

Thank you! The idea is that he tripped on the rocks so that he didn't run in the street and get hit by a car.
