Question: Is magic technology, plain scientific knowledge that follows the laws of nature, the power to persuade people with arguments, modern medicine or is it instead limited to supernatural practices? The danger with vague terms like 'magic' is that less sophisticated people, people who lack education in the arts, will see everything they do not understand as "magic" or "from the devil" and I am not sure what the Muslim world would understand as being or not being magic.

I have respect for Islam as a Christian. I see brothers, rather than challengers, enemies, or "heretics." We are all believers in a world of unbelievers. Legalism in Christianity or Islam directed towards non-believers never works, it always incites rebellion or hatred. However, mutual conversation usually always does. Believer or not we where all created as God's children, to be, God's children. Videos like this help pierce the veil, and I would say even deepens my understanding of Christianity as I am sure the teachings of Jesus have helped Muslims, deepen their understanding and faith in Islam. Prophet Suleiman (a.s) was accused of practicing magic since Allah granted him with miracles. Now Allah wants to separate His prophet from what of falsehood that is surrounding him. He wants to distinguish and make a plain difference between magic(that they accuse Suleiman practicing) and what Allah granted him of His miracles(commanding the jinn, wind e.t.c) Allah sends two angels Harut and Marut to show people what real magic is but they shouldn't practice it. They understood what it is and it only harms them and benefit them not. Yet due to jealousy and other evil soul inclinations they practiced and acted upon what they were taught of magic to separate a man and his wife and other forms of effects of magic. And whoever practices it here in this dunya(world) has sold their souls at the price of the hereafter (they will have no share of good in the hereafter) . Except those who repent and never do it again and follow the straight path and do good deeds. Allah shall forgive them and change their evil deeds into good deeds. Those are the successful

@Saaduddin Ansari nope. there is no such thing as good magic. all magic are evil. magic is the art of making a pact with the djinn and ask the djinn tu do something like harming other, locating missing stuff, heal someone and so on. when u ask the djinn for help, even if its for helping someone and for good reason (good magic as u say it), you already did one of the biggest sin.. you relied on the djinn instead of god. so yeah. there's no good magic. just like the video said, all kind of magic is pure evil unlike alcohol which still have a little benefit. but magic? pure evil.

I was born into a muslim family, and country alhamdulillah. But it was after me watching this channel regularly, i started praying. Shortly put, I've never been so happy, so content in life. Islam was all around me, but my country is changing to western norms.. Some of the "muslim" friends i have, they already commited zina. And im talking about 13 to 14 year olds

Sihr started from Babylon. Babylon's long gone but sihr is rife, not in Babylon but all over the world today. The Children of Israel's rabbis in Babylon put a lot of sihr in their Babylonian Talmud which was then practiced by the rulers and oligarchs new tribe in north of Babylon, south of Russia called Khazar when they became Judaized in late 8th century. When Khazarian Kingdom was invaded by Russian in the 11th century, the Babylonian Black Magic continued to be practiced by the Khazar oligarchs who rebranded themselves as Ashkenaz in other parts of Europe. Their Babylonian Sihr or Black Magic is now part of Kabbalah Mysticism and Gematria Numerology practiced by mostly those of high & secret society.

I've read an old book about the story when i was in madrasah.. Although i don't really trust much about the context.. The story was interesting, intriguing and suprising at the same time.. That's when i started to understand that specific ayat.. It has whole deep main story.. Which i was so eager to know.. One of the best stories..
