I'd honestly love to see lore-accurate angels in media more often in general. Aside from the times when they're literally disguising themselves as humans in order to move around among the people, the way they're described in the Bible is usually way more awesome than throwing a pair of wings on an otherwise regular-ass human.

I never realized how dark and sad this movie was. I genuinely used to think it was just a fun movie about angels playing baseball but there's so much dark and heartbreaking moments in this.

Rizzo's audible gasp when he first saw Angels in the Outfield on Disney+ was me. I used to watch this all the time at my grandma's (RIP). ❤ Also the amount of big name actors now in this that were just merely background characters on the team is wild to me.

Stupid scene, where the whole dumb crowd is flapping their arms, because the kid sees an ANGEL, and he's really looking at the player he knows is going to DIE, and he's the only one who knows it so they have to make this game COUNT because it's his LAST. I just have something in my eyes...IT'S TEARS 😢

I LOVED this movie as a kid. There was a thing with baseball movies around this time. _The Sandlot_ came out the year before _Angels in the Outfield_ and I was obsessed with that movie too. Same with _Rookie of the Year_ and _A League of Their Own_ . My friends and I played baseball all the time even though none of us were very sporty or athletic, probably because of these movies.

WOAH, Benji cracking before the first inning was UNIMAGINABLE! (I know nothing about baseball) 8:51-9:23 these are some of my favorites parts of your reactions, when you make a joke or guess about a line/plot line and the reality is worse than expected, your reactions are priceless 😭whether it's funny, sad, or whatever. It's just wholesome and endearing, I love it 💕 10:08 TOY STORY REFERENCE! I would absolutely LOVE if you reacted to that someday! Fav movie of all time 🥺 19:25 Revisiting kids' movies as an adult is devastating...... It's like Perrito from Puss in Boots, remember that sweater story? I know this might sound silly, but when I was a boy I honestly thought the lady who ran the foster home was the same one from Home Alone 2. Kevin gave her a pep talk and she was so inspired that she traveled across the country, cleaned herself up, and decided to inspire children the way Kevin once inspired her when she was homeless by opening up a foster home. Home Alone 2 and Angels In The Outfield were telling one overarching story, and nobody could tell me otherwise lol

Thanks so much for doing this movie! Makes me cry every time (I'm adopted AND my adopted mom passed from lung cancer in 3 months from diagnosis.... so yeah this movie kills me) Would you consider doing some more 90s live action kids movies that are randomly dark? Beethoven? Free Willy? Big Green (another sports movie w Ranch Wilder?). No one has really done these at all and they were HUGE parts of my childhood!

Wow, this movie is more sad than I remember! But it’s so sweet and that ending still brings a smile to my face. I can’t wait until you guys get around to the mighty ducks series because I wholeheartedly love those movies and I also have thoughts about those movies mostly plot hole thoughts (I’m from Minnesota so there are things in there that make no sense, mainly the roller blading scenes in the second movie because the places they were going it would be a solid 20 mile difference)

I loved this movie. It's touching and has a strong message in it. And just the power to believe in yourself and in something bigger than yourself. I believe it. I love this strong inspiring movie.

Oh to be a kid in a 90’s film. Yeah your parents are dead/deadbeats but you gain an unconventional family due to some kind of supernatural power that’s usually related to Christianity… truly the dream 😂😂😂

I loved this movie when I was a kid! It was so inspiring to me and one of the first sport movies I watched. I was disappointed that baseball games don't actually as quickly as this movie, but otherwise it was very good! Works surprisingly well as a story!
