I'd honestly love to see lore-accurate angels in media more often in general. Aside from the times when they're literally disguising themselves as humans in order to move around among the people, the way they're described in the Bible is usually way more awesome than throwing a pair of wings on an otherwise regular-ass human.

I LOVED this movie as a kid. There was a thing with baseball movies around this time. _The Sandlot_ came out the year before _Angels in the Outfield_ and I was obsessed with that movie too. Same with _Rookie of the Year_ and _A League of Their Own_ . My friends and I played baseball all the time even though none of us were very sporty or athletic, probably because of these movies.

I know this might sound silly, but when I was a boy I honestly thought the lady who ran the foster home was the same one from Home Alone 2. Kevin gave her a pep talk and she was so inspired that she traveled across the country, cleaned herself up, and decided to inspire children the way Kevin once inspired her when she was homeless by opening up a foster home. Home Alone 2 and Angels In The Outfield were telling one overarching story, and nobody could tell me otherwise lol

I have been calling Field of Dreams by this name for so long. Was actually really excited and completely forgot this movie, or that I had watched it at some point. I loved this movie. It's touching and has a strong message in it. And just the power to believe in yourself and in something bigger than yourself. I believe it. I love this strong inspiring movie.

Huge gasp! 😩 This use to be one of my favorite movies of all time from childhood. I probably haven't seen it since I was a kid tbh. 1 and 2 are such classics.

They had TWO sequels apparently (neither theatrical). One was Angels in the e, starring Christopher Lloyd and the other was Angels in the Infield starring David Alan Grier

Oh to be a kid in a 90’s film. Yeah your parents are dead/deadbeats but you gain an unconventional family due to some kind of supernatural power that’s usually related to Christianity… truly the dream 😂😂😂

I loved this movie when I was a kid! It was so inspiring to me and one of the first sport movies I watched. I was disappointed that baseball games don't actually as quickly as this movie, but otherwise it was very good! Works surprisingly well as a story!
