Bout to get a taste of how broken weapons can really get
@BRamz_1218 ай бұрын
This quest is in the same vein as the "Vox Solaris" and "Heart of Deimos" quests. An introduction to a people and sub-world, but nothing more.... UNTIL, you rank up with them. Each rank will give more lore and backstory with each member, and just like how knowing someone IRL for 5 days vs 5 years changes the way you talk to each other, the same happens with these Syndicates. Fortuna's level 5 blew my socks off personally so its my favorite, but seeing the changes in personality as you get closer and closer with the people and how they warm up to you has always been one of my favorite parts of this game. It's something that takes time, and it's a forced time investment allowing you to actually get invested with each character, No skipping allowed. Whispers I'm The Walls is also similar but done much more in depth simply bc it is the first quest in a new story arc that the devs want to explore for the next "5-10 years of development", (at least that's what I had heard). The Zariman was the last questline/Syndicate for the Tenno arc, an arc that (sort of) kicked off with the Second Dream, back in 2015. We've come a long way. And Warframe 1999 is shaping up to be a doozy. edit1: Concerning the tutorialization being put alongside the story, I'm of two minds on it. On one hand the meshing of them has definitely improved over time, and how else could they innovate on gameplay modes without being forced to shove a tutorial *somewhere*... But on the other hand it definitely feels like a pace killer when you can't progress the story because you're stuck on a mechanic or just going through the motions of "yet another extermination mission". I can't really think of a good compromise, and while I *do* enjoy exploring a new environment and having the npc's teach me about themselves, the disjointed nature of it can put my brain on autopilot sometimes causing me to miss half of what's going on... edit2: After you dash through the gold orbs during the angel fight, when you land on the ground it will spawn a Zone that not only blocks incoming projectiles, but also gives a massive boost to your damage if you shoot out of it.

@@jazzyjswiftYou have access to Vox Solaris even before getting to rank 5 with Solaris United. VS only requires you to complete The War Within so that you can speak with Little Duck. Rank 5 with SU just unlocks the orb hunting missions, which makes ranking up VS easier, but you can get to max rank with VS even without that thanks to Narmer Isoplasts from Narmer bounties after The New War.

7:30 There is something like that. Plague Star is an event where an infested meteor lands on Cetus and you can remove it by killing Infested enemies, it's a community event as well.
@kdc028 ай бұрын
@neermuse We did rebuild a relay through exactly that since the singular time we didn't really defend it from the Fomorians. That was the time we understood that they weren't really shying away from actually taking out our stuff. A few years later they gave us the option to rebuild it through community effort by getting hexenon and other things and donating it to Steel Meridian. It does show that they can do it, but, time-wise, it probably took so long to do so. Let's see what they can cook up.
@SenseofNoneYT8 ай бұрын
That thing you mentioned about like an event where the player-base works together to cleanse the infestation? There's actually a recurring event that's kinda like that. It's called Plague Star. The infestation starts dropping on the Plains of Eidolon on Earth. And people have do the bounty specific to that. And there was a one-time event where the players fought off the first wave of Sentient invaders. It was an event that happened before The New War. Not many liked it, but I personally liked it despite the issues. Basically, all the players who jump into a particular instance of the new Relay had to work together to hit the goal. And there were two fronts: one in space where players rode out in Railjack squads to fight the Sentients in their Murex ships; the other is on the Earth's surface where squads fought off the Condrix which dropped on earth to spawn their ground forces. And both fronts have to work together. Otherwise, the Relay instance they deployed from won't progress. The execution wasn't perfect but I for one liked that idea. I honestly wish they polished it and did something similar, but against different factions.

2:33 The zariman is acting like a plug for the void rn 7:24 there kinda is but it's not endgame content. "Invasions", they have their own tab in the upper corner in navigation and depending on the factions taking part you can get weapon parts for weapons only obtainable through invasions, big resources like fieldrons used on those faction lab weapons in the foundry, and potatoes, forma and exilus adapters occasionally 10:32 that's wally's finger, acting as a power generator for the zariman Related to your talk about howhaving new gamemodes now is detrimental: everyone plays void cascade and angels, good farms for arcanes which are like the hottest items to trade at the moment

Hey Lloydy the good news is that there IS more story and lore, the sad news is that they bound it to the Syndicate rank-ups of the Zariman. And yes, the next (and for now final) Quest does things similar. There is way *way* more story to be found out there in the wild though, too. The Zariman has hidden Audio transmission logs a la Dead Space that you can just find across the tile set. They will start to paint a picture of the Zariman and it's inhabitants that Whispers in the Walls (and its lootable lore) will throw a *very* different light on. You're two separate grinds away from finding out the ACTUAL truth about what happened, when the Zariman Incident occured.

Yea i recommend ranking up fortuna (rank 5) to unlock more stuff with them in the backroom, the holdfasts (for story and good weapons), and the next syndicate in whispers of the walls (again, for the story). Them locking a lot of the story behind rank ups is annoying because of the daily limit but it is what it is.

With the fast approach to being caught up on all the main quests I'd love a video simply taking a step back and reacting to a lot of the lore that's not upfront in the quests. It's been amazing watching him catch up so fast but that efficiency ends up sacrificing a lot of the depth and importance to be had in the latest quests. It'd be great for a laid back chill time to delve deep into the story and understand it better especially before the most current quest which is drenched in convoluted and nuanced lore details.

"Tau, that's the place Ballas wanted to go to" Yes. The Orokin as a whole were trying to colonize a new solar system using the sentients as terraformers. Everyone in this game is either a product of, or a member of, the Orokin empire. The Orokin are just humanity evolved using the technology discovered by Albrecht Entrati after he opened a doorway to the void for the first time and met the man in the wall. Whispers will detail more of this, but all this information has already been divulged in past quests. Corpus = Orokin servants. Grineer = Orokin clone army. Sentients = Orokin terraforming machines sent to Tau. Zariman = Orokin colony ship. Infested = Orokin manufactured nanovirus / chemical weapon. Warframes = Orokin weapons. Necramechs = Orokin weapons. Dax = soldiers of the Orokin empire. Cetus = a people oppressed by the Orokin. Unum tower = Orokin tower. Holdfasts = literally Orokin. Entrati = literally Orokin. Tenno = Orokin children who survived the events on the Zariman Ten Zero. Ten-0. Tenno. The reason why ballas looks so wildly different is because it was common for the wealthy Orokin elite to get genetic alterations to their body in pursuit of the perfect image of beauty, and asymmetry / nonstandard human things were considered beauty in their culture due to the prolonged lifespans of the Orokin from Continuity making typical human beauty be considered mundane.

A few things. First, you can change the skin for Margulis you use by interacting with the Lotus helmet. You should have the Natah, Lotus, and Margulis skins by default. They change (or remove, in Margulis' case) the filter used for the voice, if you miss the faintly electronic filter used for the original Lotus broadcasts. Second, I'm glad to see your damage and skills improving! Seems like you've got a better handle on mods now. Compare the gameplay here with the gameplay form 'Warframe is Actually a HARD Game' and I see a world of difference. Third, if you didn't like the way this quest was used to introduce the new mission types, I've got bad news for you. That's the purpose of most of the 'main' quests, as well as most of the events. The events are generally either seasonal things (anniversaries, holidays, etc.) or a combination introduction and stress test of new things (new bosses, back when most of them were placeholders, new maps, new modes, etc.) Do be aware that, for better and worse, Digital Extremes loves to try and experiment and make new modes. The game is also a 'live service' and constantly evolving. Zariman came before Duviri, and I guess the Void Flood mission was popular enough to include it as one of the Undercroft objectives. Angels of the Zariman came out just under two years ago, but they have no idea if someone playing these modes are going to be here on release or a decade from now. The next quest, also introducing new game modes, is Whispers in the Walls, releasing a mere four months ago. 'This far into the game' could be anywhere from '10 and a half years in' to 'started playing three months ago'. Duviri is a massive introduction to the new game mode, in general, and that released a year ago, but it's accessible early. 'Late game' is a bit of a murky concept, is my point. Also, a lot of Warfarme's mechanics are pretty opaque at times. Statuses, armor, elemental types, and how they all interact, for one. Kuva Liches for another; many people start it and then have no idea what they're supposed to be doing. I'd much rather there's some sort of tutorial, and 'in a quest' is an efficient use of resources while also advancing the lore without breaking the immersion with popups or something. That's personal preference, but Warframe's nature as a constantly shifting game means that you're gonna see it a lot. The non-main quests tend to be the more unique ones, for better and worse. The Glast Gambit introduces the Index, but you have to complete the quest by doing certain things in it that have notoriously been frustrating. Octavia's Anthem comes to mind for its unique finale. The Silver Grove explores and expands on New Loka and introduces the Titania Warframe (a personal favourite and highly recommended if you like Archwing gameplay). Call of the Tempestarii was a prelude and requirement for the Sisters of Parvos (the Corpus equivalent of a Kuva Lich) and introducing the Void Storm modifier for Railjack missions (you get Sevagoth's parts and weapon parts from them) but was unique. I definitely enjoyed it, but I also didn't realize Sevagoth was tied to Void Storms as a result because the introductory quest was divorced from what they were introducing.
@wolfen2109598 ай бұрын
I recommend that you start leveling some weapons and warframes, you will need the mastery rank to be able to use some of the high MR weapons. There is a quest for Titania, she is an awesome warframe that trivialises many missions, because she transforms into a flying pixie with her own exalted auto pistols. If you are in a clan, there are lots of weapons and warframes available from the dojo. The Sirocco is a far better void weapon than the mote amp, or you can build your own in Cetus or Fortuna. Cetus will be easier to build a better amp, as the good parts are available at rank 2, but you need max rank with Little Duck at Fortuna before you can build the best amp. There are guides on KZbin that show you the best amps to build. I highly recommend that you mod your weapons for radiation damage when doing the Whispers in the Wall quest, as the enemies there are weak to it. You've come a long way in a short time, but don't get complacent when modding your weapons, as stronger enemies await. :)

Highly highly recommend investing in your AMP and Operator in general. I high level AMP and Operator can be just as broken as a Warframe with the right builds. Would also be nice to see you play you first Eidolon hunt, if you haven't done that already.

Something to note about all these factions you're running with is that ranking up with them reveals more information. For instance, this faction begins to unravel ehat caused the void jump accident that ended up creating the tenno. You mentioned that you feel like this quest feels disjointed just for lore. That's because it's a relatively newer quest. I'm the new war, we see that the Man I'm the Wall was there after the accident to grant you your powers in exchange for something we dont yet know. But if you remember back in the war within, you remember your family saying it was as if you were being watched- as if the void was staring right at you. Basically, the importance of this lore will became important as we learn more about the man in the wall. And if you remember the end of the New War, Lotus saw a Man in a Wall speak in an unknown tongue as a copy of your tenno laughed at her. The zariman is here to bridge the gap so we can eventually understand what the man in the wall wants. And the next quest is called whispers in the wall so you can probably figure out that you're about to start figuring it out.

I always figured the accents being a bit off was by design. After all, no one in the time this games is set can really be called "British" or "Nigerian" or anything else. That's if they're even the future of our Earth. I wish they went to more of an extreme, really, like the Belters in The Expanse.
@themc.kennyshow65858 ай бұрын
My fellow Britishman I wish you well ;). I'm very glad your still on your Warframe grind and still enjoying. But PLEASE I have some comments and advice especially ever since you played the New War: -Bro why was it that everytime you switched characted you NEVER meleed? Drifter, Veso, Kahl - you NEVER meleed ONCE. -When as Drifter in TNW you never properly looked after your health, why? You were on so little health so many times, got one shot, and were Shocked that you died??? -Warframe is a game that has so many implicit meanings. As a more seasoned player yo ushould be ablle to eralise more that sometimes the game is vague because you can use your brain to figure out where the next path is for example. Or learn to combo moves without being told. Or to experiment to find out new things. E.G in TNW as Drifter, you had a void gun called the 'scirocco'. You never did this cos u werer blind (one of many times) to the game teaching you that: when you shoot and then reload, the 2 little lines when the reload animation goes on appears. If you press the reload button in between the 2 lines when another line moves around - you get a charged, powerful shot. -FFS I'm so glad you finally stopped called Wally 'Rell'. That pissed me off. You legit did a quest where you were told Rell was fighting against the "Indifference" for hundreds of years. -My guy your pronunciation of names sometimes :), eg, "Kahl" was so botched back in TNW lmao. Its ok. -You may want to watch Lore videos up to the point your at. From the Orokin empire origins to TNW perhaps. Especailly about Ballas the creator of WFs. -Did you know when you equip the melee weapon, you can hold aim to block projectiles? Then if you hold aim when blocking and Then do melee - you do a new move set based around blocking.

@@AdjustedDisparity well at the end of the new war radiant lotus said that she is margulis, natah and lotus together and we as the player choose which version of her leads the other versions, so i think the margulis we have is the original margulis, its just that she seems not real because DE cant make good faces and she looks fake/like a robot

@@mineboss1063 no this is natah a sentient pretending to be margulis but he chose natah to be margulis at the new war u would know that the lotus (natah) is a sentient when u do the natah quest and acted to be like how margulis was to the tenno as the lotus

You know that you gain more lore if you level up the Syndicates and collect collectibles, right? RIGHT?!

That would require playing the game tho

So this will be the 🤓 type of comment. Mastery ranks they only lock the use of some weapons/rivens at each rank up the reputation you can get with each faction daily is increased in 500 plus you get more space to bank void traces extractos and focus. Each equipment/warframe gives mastery points being Warframes/companions/vehicles 6000 mastery points at lv 30 Weapons Usually 3000 points except some especial ones that you have to forma 5 times. You should have a lot of mastery points from mk1 weapons and other weapons and wf that you didn't craft/level up. Amps are also counted as weapons those amps you have a better one its the sirocco go to the operator/drifter and select equipment there you can change it. Some weapons the ones that are made with modular system needs to be fully gilded before it gives mastery exp so its like leveling up a weapon twice. Speaking of weapons try to not sell any weapon unless you get a better version example fulmin/fulmin prime. They will come in handy later. After that amps are locked behind syndicates in cetus search for a stone door and use your true form and in fortuna speak in your true form in the backrooms to someone thats chilling there. Mostly you will need to max rank the syndicates so you can get access to more lore/upgrades/weapons. In zariman i recommend you rush to get the laetum its a really good weapon. I think thats mostly it.

"the drifter didn't get saved" actually he did. Confusing lore, operator and drifter are the same person, but only one can physically exist at a time. Think of the flash series when the multiverse collapses and all the Harrison Wells are now overlapped into one person.
