When Mr. Deen discovers one of his students has been living out of his car and thrown into jail, he decides to bail him out. Good stuff. The actor playing the teacher has been great in a lot of other roles. We need to keep upping the craft of uplifting film and take back the attention of the mainstream. People are yearning for the good.

Although it's a true story, and I really enjoyed it, this feelgood film is perhaps a bit misleading. Helping society's rejects can easily backfire. It's beautiful what Mr Deen did for his young protégé. Yet I know of 2 similar cases each involving a well-meaning schoolteacher who tried to support a young man less fortunate than themselves. Both teachers got killed. Keep it real, people

I haven't seen Jared Harris in something in so long, maybe since Mad Men. A great actor who should be working alot more. Great actors, you would never know the young lead is Australian and Harris is British. Angel studios is becoming a sort of A24 of Faith based/Spiritual movies attracting more and more big name talent. Although some of their films are not my personal tastes I hope the studio keeps making movies and can continue to offer an alternative to Hollywood and its recent nutty ideologically influenced philosophies

I really wish Angel Studios would not have opted to help create a movie with so much vulgar language, including taking God's name in vain several times. There is some "sexual content" as well with shirtless scenes, strip search, teens making out in bed as well. While the message of the movie might be good, there is no difference between this movie made by a faith based company than with the rest of the movie production companies in Hollywood.
