I remember being little and seeing Angemon (a champion level) attack Myotismon (a powerful ultimate level). It was wild because the attack clearly affected Myotismon to the point that he was brought to his knees and that the residual energy from the attack destroyed a nearby Phantomon (who was also an ultimate level).

With Luxmon we have a full evolution line of Angel Digimon. Darcmon works better a previous evolution form for Angewomon than Tailmon. 😊

The Hierarchy of Angel Digimon hasn't changed much officially. 9 Ranks of Angels from the Celestial Trio that also includes Rasielmon, Then Dominimon for Dominions, SlashAngemon for Powers, & ClavisAngemon for Virtues, then we have Principalities, Archangels, & regular angels to which we are still waiting for more information. We can only speculate the rank of LovelyAngemon among Angel Digimon.

HolyAngewomon would be the Mega Level representing Archangels having command over HolyAngemon & Angewomon if it existed. Angewomon X is the closest we have to HolyAngewomon, at least LovelyAngemon exists.

Angemon is Champion while Angewomon is Ultimate which is the reason why. Still LovelyAngemon is technically a Mega for Angewomon even though it doesn't have womon in its name. Angewomon was clearly cheated in terms of power compared to its male counterpart Magna or HolyAngemon who has Mega Level Power. Rasielmon being an Ophani combined with Beelestarmon existing gives hope that maybe we could possibly see an Angewomon version of Slash or Clavis someday or HolyAngewomon. Popular Stage 5s get plenty of Stage 6s & Angewomon has 3 so far not counting fusions or Lillithmon. I also think Gatomon/Tailmon should get Crusadermon as a possible Mega thanks to Adventure 2020.

Humanoid digimon are boring and tedious and angel types are lame. The franchise would be better served by all digimon being actual Digital Monsters not just winged people or humans with animal heads.

...so Pokemon. Considering that pokemon are creatures meant to simulate a type of ecosystem, it makes sense why people don't like humanoid pokemon (or al least not having them stand an walk on 2 legs) this is digimon, digital monsters. they can be literally anything. Variety is the spice of a monster franchise, and oh by does DG have that. Sure we got duds, but hey - thiers nothing quite like having a poop monster, living legos, a seraphim, a lion man and a dragon made of guns all standing in the same room.
