I came across this song last year at a show choir competition. I was really going through something rough and when I heard a group do this song I was in tears. Not only were the vocals amazing, but you know that commercial where this lady walks into a party and everybody has strings attached to them? This show choir had that mind set. They didn't have strings, but that's how they looked, as well as having a bunch of mental baggage they were carrying. The way they presented themselves was exactly how I was feeling. And then at the end (the climax) they threw their arms down and then sung that part a Capella (no band or piano, just them singing) and I was literally in tears by the end. It was truly amazing and it really touched me. I still struggle with what I was struggling with that day, but now I know that there is an escape to it. Whenever I am struggling, I remember this song.

Tyler Mathews I know the song is just temporary, but it helps me when I struggle to find the peace with myself. I do try to maintain/grow a relationship with God, but this song is my go to when I need to remember why God is who He is. When I need to remember that he forgives all sins. I am still searching to find the peace that helps me stay clear of my struggles, (as I am still struggling) and I hope to one day find it. I know God is the lasting peace and all, but I find it so incredibly easy to forget that in the shadows of my mind.

The producers purposely wrecked this song because they were not about to let this song outshine Candice, which it would have. The music business is so cut throat. A. The producers butchered what had (and still has) the potential to be a great song...her choice of songs on American Idol (such as Evanescence's "Bring Me To Life") proves to me that a more dramatic presentation of the song would have sounded as well as fit the character of both Angie and the song so much better. This is one of the best original songs ever on Idol anywhere in the world, and I loved the performance she did in the audition on the show. I love the song, but I dont like this version because the producers over did it. It is way over-produced, and you lose the emotion of the song. IMHO.

The live performance is better than this shes is very beautiful has amazing lyrics that hit me hard and her voice is just phenomenal.
