Coconut oil is a carrier oil so you would need a different essential oil with it if you would like to use one. As long as the oil works well on your hair, you can use that

Thank you for the advice. I have a question. I have been wearing cornrows for years constantly with the only time I am not wearing cornrows is when I am washing my hair every two weeks before getting my hair rebraided the next day. The braids are not super tight and do not cause me any discomfort. Is it okay to do that, or should I leave my hair unbraided for a couple of weeks before getting it rebraided?

I read the information about the one you're using & it says you rinse it out. My girl had me buy the same brand Jamaican Black Castor Oil strengthen & restore leave-in Conditioner. Is it OK to infuse maybe 1-2 tablespoons in the water, since I have the same spray bottle as you ?

It does say rinse out but it is a basic conditioner with no protein in it so if your hair reacts well to it, you can leave it in 💖

There are conditioners that are safe enough to leave in your hair without rinsing out
