When ppl wash their hair in protective styles, a lot of the “new growth” is just loose hair that came out during washes. To see real new grow, don’t wash your hair while In braids. Of course there’s nothing wrong with keeping it clean. This is in regards to seeing true new growth. Great video btw.

Thank you for this video, I'm getting ready to have someone either twist my hair or plait my hair. I'm going to do this to keep my hair moisturized. I don't use extension, it's just my hair. So, I can moisturize my whole hair, my goal is to keep them in a whole month 🙏❤️

Your hair looks beautiful and healthy..I think no more than 3 mths you should leave it in Anytime after that.. From my experience it starts to knot & gradually turn into locks 😂.. But I love your video..I needed this.. Cause my hair is very greedy And loves moisture, but when it’s braided I feel like I’m starving it from its daily proper feed of lavishness of moisture lol which it loves.. Cause you can only moisture so much of your hair in protective styling .. So I’m glad I stumbled on your video.. Definitely needed this tip.. ThankYou..🙏😊👌💖🎈

Both! I use water and an oil everyday to moisturise.Water is my actual moisture and an oil is acting as my sealant. I do not use oil by itself everyday. Hope that answers your question.

Hey 👋 for a long term protective style like this one. I keep it in maximum 1 month and I wash twice or three times in one month. That also depends on how much build I have. For short term protective styles like mini braids or twists, I was once a week

I don’t use the moisturizer every day. Buildup can be caused by a lot of things. The number one thing is applying it on your scalp every day or your hair. The second thing that can cause buildup is not washing your scalp or your hair carefully with a clarifying shampoo or moisturizing shampoo.

Frizz will happen regardless if you use water or not. The most important thing is your hair needs to be moisturized.
