At Carnation Cafe, we had this one host we saw every time we went. He was an 80 something year old man, who was just the sweetest and gave us little treats (especially when I was younger), and that cafe is so amazing! Unfortunately he passed recently, but every time I go, I think of him, and it's just so magical. ❤️

Rene Guerrero Very cool! My dream used to be that when I eventually retired, I would move to Anaheim and work part-time at Disneyland, and volunteer at an animal shelter the rest of the time. Fast forward, I turned 65 and my health is so bad that doubt I could walk from the employees' parking lot to one of if the gift shops, where I figured I'd work. Instead, I look at apps that remind me of all my visits there in the past.

my best experience at disney was staying at the grand californian hotel. since we were staying with 6 people, we got the biggest room which allowed us into the concierge (free food). from the balcony u could eat some delicious food and watch a vip view of the fireworks. simply magical!! it was before i got my annual pass so it was a really special day for me

Unfortunately by the time most people have used up their 3, and because of the booking ahead aspect, most of the rides worth fastpassing have sold out by then.

@gabymunoz62667 жыл бұрын
I can't imagine wearing Toms all day...ouch! Although they are super cute. I guess our hack for water rides is since we always bring a backpack, on the days we ride the water rides, we bring our light weight flip flops and change into them right before the ride. Change back into sneakers after. May not be all that practical for some but it works for our family of three. :)

Great video just a suggestion. On your camera there is a switch that lets you turn off auto focus. The best hotel to stay in, if you don't mind not staying right across the street, is the Anaheim Majestic Gardens Hotel. It has a free shuttle and you can get free parking if you book your package through the Disney website. They're a Good Neighbor hotel. For lunch, your better option than the Blue Bayou is actually across the way at Cafe Orleans. They have several of the same things, but they cost less, because you don't have table service and you don't have the limited seating that the Blue Bayou has.

One hack that my family does is bring in a meal, so we are eating only one meal and sometimes a snack at the park. I think having one "Disney" meal is part of the fun and experience. :)
@spicyandiknowit50578 жыл бұрын
Bring in snacks for sure, If we buy any drinks we get them in bottles so we can refill them with water later, Me and my daughter sometimes share a meal because some meals are plenty for 2, Adults can eat off the kids menu as well, Most of the time We eat before we go in the park and have a snack for lunch then sit down for a meal for dinner.

By the way feel free to talk to the staff especially ppl that are older. The staff are so friendly nothing to be intimidated by. They’re not just trained to be that way the hiring process weeds out (or should) anyone who is not exceptional. I worked there for a year in 79 and loved it. If you’re really into Disneyland get a book at library called “mouse tales” fun read for Disneyland geeks.

you can have 3 set up beforehand at WDW. you have to ride those 3 before you set up more, but as soon as you scan the third one in, you can set up another, one at a time, for the rest of the day. Ideally, you set up 3 passes for the first 3 hours of the day, then chain them to maximize for the rest of the time. I did around 15 fast passes last time i was at MK.

We brought our triplet boys (aged 3 at the time) and our daughter (aged 1 at the time) to Disneyworld and got the boys custom ears and they loved them. They were light blue and on one ear it said either Kruz, Jace or Luca and one the other it said 1/3, 2/3, or 3/3. They were so cute and helped us quickly identify who was who since they are identical and were running everywhere (mom fail - no being able to tell who is who)

There are a few hotels off of Disney property that are neighbor hotels that disney still allows to use the magic hours. They list them on the website
@alexreid437 жыл бұрын
Okay, well how we do it is we get the cheapest hotel within walking distance of the park, then we stay at the part from the minute it opens to the minute it closes. Before we leave for Disneyland, we always make a family set of Mickey/Minnie ears (this year we're doing black baseball caps with ears and a ribbon bow for the girls with our name written on the front). For food we do it the cheapest way possible, bring snacks and have cup n' noodle soup for dinner. Yum, yum! 😜 Anyway, we always make it the cheapest way possible, get as many fast passes as we possibly can, go to every single ride and every single show, and don't waste a single second of our trip. We even drive there. Seriously, from Vancouver, WA, we drive to Disneyland. 12 hours straight, no stopping except for quick fast food meals and bathroom breaks. Yup, best way to do Disneyland!

My most magical Disney moment was getting off Pirates of the Caribbean after only a 5 minute wait and walking to main street for the fireworks when we saw there was no line for Dole Whip (it had been around an hour all week) we grabbed Dole Whips and the tiki room show was just starting so we darted in there ate our Dole whip and then went to watch fire works and somehow even just making it watched them in the middle of the street on main street over the castle. It was a magical night.

Also if you go to Disney during the summer and you have a free day were you are not and disney, GO EXPLORING THE AREA, I did this once and it was so much fun, we saw so many amazing things and it was a nice brake, then that night you can watch the fireworks, I like to do this while swimming idk why it just seems more magical

You can get more than 3 fast passes a day at Disney World. :) I prefer the FP system there because you can prebook your first 3 online (so you don't have to get to the park at rope drop if you don't want to,) and then after you use all 3 of them you can go to a kiosk and get more. :)
