Thank you so much for the tips! Perfect timing! I am (hopefully) making a tote bag for my stepmom for Christmas. I only have one that came in a sublimation kit, so hopefully I will get it right the first time! 😁

What size do you print for the totes? I thought my printer did both 8.5x11 and 8.5x14 but I discovered it does not do the longer sheets. I just bought a cricut maker 3; wondering if I’ll need to use that instead of sublimation to do bigger projects
@AngieHoldenАй бұрын
The size of your print would depend on the size of your tote. I just used regular paper with these though.
@professormcdownАй бұрын
@@AngieHolden thanks; I have some of those same bags with the colored bottoms and handles. Was worried I’d need a larger than 8.5x11 print. I just watched a tutorial on how to print larger projects by printing it in sections and piecing together so I suppose that’s an option
@AngieHoldenАй бұрын
You can definitely do that! I kept the design to the paper size in this case.

Do you have an advise for printing on both sides of a tote bag? Can it be done? Do you put the prints on at the same time? Thanks 😊
@AngieHoldenАй бұрын
Yes you can print on both sides! I would do one side then do the other.

Is heat paper butcher paper or parchment paper?

Also can you reuse the paper?
@AngieHolden Жыл бұрын
You can reuse as long as you don't get any ink on it. Protective paper information here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKOog5Zjbretfac

I tried 100% polyster small pouches, and they absorbed the ink, and they r burned, turning to light yellow, do u have any advice?
@AngieHolden7 ай бұрын
I would use less heat and be sure to cover the entire thing with butcher paper. Sounds like you are burning the fabric.

Hello, Angie H! I am trying to sublimate on polyester tote bags, but my images are not coming out as crisp. I have the Epson Ecotank and recently bought the Epson ET1000. Could you please give me detailed instructions on how to set up my ET1000 for better images? I am using A Sub ink and transfer paper. I’ve downloaded the ICC profile, but I noticed when I go to color management on my laptop, it’s reverting back to the default every time I add it. I’m also using photoshop. Any help with setting that up for better images will be greatly appreciated. Thank you…TIE J
@AngieHolden9 ай бұрын
A profile will not make the images more crisp. Try doing a print head alignment.
@Tie-ts7zl9 ай бұрын
Ok, I will do that. One more question, what is the best laptop I can use. I currently have an older model Asus. Could an old laptop contribute to mediocre images? Thank you.
@TheGeekster088 ай бұрын
@@Tie-ts7zl A laptop won't contribute to image quality, it'll just print what you tell it to print. If you ever "upsize" an image, it will lose fidelity and become blurry, try to avoid making any images larger than they are natively

It is difficult to get the seams to look good. You will always have a shadow there.
