I remember not liking old Gabby, turns out, she didn’t like that version of herself either. Love to see folks mature and not stay in toxic places just because folks know them for that. Growth is scary but you’re happier for it.

So much respect for both these women, and their authenticity. Angie and her sensitivity towards Gabrielle and their friendship and Gabrielle for her honesty and not glorifying trauma! So proud of these two!

Having been through infertility and going through IVF, she’s right on point with everything she’s saying. I’m glad she’s using her experience to heal and support other women that are not able to speak up.

Dee Dee, I think Michelle Obama experienced the same thing, but she has a reservoir of things she can talk about and infertility is/was NOT on the top of her list.

It’s so crazy I was about to write my comment before the video ended and Angie says she is really a great story teller I was literally about to type the same exact thing. This was really good. I like her personality she’s serious, passionate, yet chill and funny all at the same time.

"No body needs to be a trauma mule." Gurl, you keep having these fresh (to me), public discourse on fertility. Not boring!!!
@donnas64743 жыл бұрын
It never ceases to amaze me that jealousy and envy always become a vocal point of some of these comments because they didn't pursue or work hard to achieve what Gabrielle has successfully accomplished. In spite of the heartaches and trauma she had to endure and experience as a Black Woman, she still has a sense of humor and unconditional love for the family and friends that are near and dear to her. I am happy that she is strong enough to share her pain and decided to write about it as her way of healing. I always liked Gabrielle as an actress and after watching her interview with Angie it made me love her even more. I pray 🙏 🤲 that she will continue to enjoy her role as a Wife, Mother, Actress, Author and Boss.

Some people in these comments are just mean. How they are adjusting and raising their kid should not effect anyone else. It is one of the hardest things to experience as a parent. I know this because I struggled with my own son. We can say that all these play a factor and everyone will have their opinion. I had to make sure no one had ever touched him inappropriately, etc. I actually beat him the first time it came to fruition (that was wrong). I blamed myself, I blamed his dad (for being in jail for 7 yrs of his life). It was years of struggle until my own child made me look in the mirror. I had to be honest with myself. There was nothing I could do to change him and there was also no way that I would disown my son or kick him out because of his sexuality that in no way truly effects me besides that “social stigma” that comes with your child being gay. Once I got past caring about what people thought, it started to lift that burden and stress. It wasn’t worth the inner turmoil and disconnect from my child.
@culluts27552 жыл бұрын
But, do you approve of your son being gay? Loving someone, especially your child, does not mean you accept their wrong as right. You don't have to accept the gay lifestyle in your son to love him. I know it's hard but God made him a boy, a man, masculine. Men were created to be attracted to girls, women, feminine. There are inherent rules, we were created in Christ to follow and live in. laws and standards that we were created in...we don't get to choose to do our own thing and not expect to suffer the consequences eternally. Listen, when God calls Dwayne Wades son, He will not call him Zaya, believe it!
