Thanks for the interesting video and the information in the description. Seems to be on the weaker side of anti angle grinder locks, because its a lot faster and easier than the litelok x1, x3 and hiplok d1000 as well as abus granit super extreme 2500.

In this test, yes. But in the Bennets test he said he needed 6 discs to make 1 cut!

For U.S. customers looking for anti-angle grinder lock that is lightweight and relatively cheap, SkunkLock Carbon should be the easiest, cheapest and fastest to buy, receive and replace compared to the Litelok X1 plus it comes with 3 keys as opposed to the latter's 2.

@chaxologist2961 Maybe if weight is a factor the new OnGuard RockSolid could also be an option (1.4kg). Although i haven't seen tests or reviews about it at this point in time and it only has sold secure pedal cycle diamond.

seeing videos with only wireless angle grinders would be much more helpful because thats realistically all that thieves would be using.

How come other videos show multiple discs, thanks for this honest review.

SkunkLock said I had a faulty lock. But I suspect with a design that uses a hollow tube full of little pieces or ceramic, it's possible that the grinder hits a spot where there is a space between the pieces. Or at least the point where two pieces meet and there is therefore less resistance. That's pure conjecture on my part, though!

I reckon those otjer videos use a different type of disc. This might be a diamond cutting disc.

Have to agree that you should have used a battery powered grinder on this test.

@TheBestBikeLock because it's not a legit test on how bicycle thieves steal bikes. This video including other people's videos who use "ELECTRIC" angle grinders to cut u locks are a f..king joke! Especially the people who use bench vises to hold and then cut chains or u locks using an "ELECTRIC" grinder. Ofcourse an "ELECTRIC" will defeat any type of u locks. Bicycle thieves do not use nor carry portable generators with gas going all over the town, neighborhoods or cities stealing bicycles with "ELECTRIC" angle grinders. Bicycle thieves use portable "BATTERY" operated angle grinders to cut through all types of chains, locks and u locks to steal bikes. "BATTERY" operated angle grinders don't even come close to having the raw power of an "ELECTRIC" angle grinder to cut these locks. These tests performed by people like yourself and many others using an "ELECTRIC" angle grinder to cut all types of bicycle u locks is total B.S, useless and a waste of everybody's time watching these bogus videos. I can't stand when I see posted videos of people using electric angle grinders cutting through these locks trying to prove these locks are useless. That's not how bicycle thieves steal bikes, do you'd understand? What are you people smoking?? Now, what would be impressive is to "ACTUALLY" see someone or many people posting videos trying to cut these hardcore u locks with a "BATTERY" operated angle grinder like how it is done on the streets by bicycle thieves. These videos using "ELECTRIC" angle grinders cutting u locks prove nothing to us and are totally irrelevant videos. I believe many will agree with me on this matter. All I can say is it's people like you and others that have your head shoved far up your own asses to realize this! What a fucking joke these videos of using an "ELECTRIC" angle grinder cutting u locks are, thinking your hot shit or trying to prove a point of a useless product which isn't the case if you'd actually do a legit test on how bicycle thieves steal bikes. Smh... get t a f..king life you clowns! 🤡

I thought the skunklock was supposed to have some sort of puke inducing chemical inside of it. That was their main selling feature.

Unfortunate to see that Skunlock can be rotated with just 1 side cut, basically better going with Litelok

That wasn't a rechargeable angle grinder though, so this isn't a realistic test

Higher end battery ones I'm pretty certain will work nearly as good and long. If this was 15 years ago you may have a point but most modern higher end battery tools are more powerful than the corded stuff 10 years ago. Plus battery swaps are done in seconds or your buddy jumps in with his tool.
@vigilant_19345 ай бұрын
It's a worst case scenario test. It's the worst performance I've seen from claimed angle grinder resistant locks. The other ones (even the cheapest one, Litelok X1) take at least 70 secs in this same scenario for one cut. SkunkLock was cut twice in 61 secs. I haven't seen one video of a SkunkLock that did what it claimed. Have spent the last day looking for just one video of the chemical SkunkLock working that wasn't a staged video. I'm only watching this because the Litelok X3 is estimated to take 1 month to ship to me and I can't wait that long.
@TheBestBikeLock2 ай бұрын
It's not supposed to emulate a street attack. It's meant to provide a level playing field (no variations in power due to battery level), so it's easier to compare the relative angle grinder resistance of different locks.

You could have been using type different type of cutting disks because you didn’t show us. Video is useless.
