Well made video. Very easy to understand and good details about the product and the flash units. The modifier seems a little harsh. Not sure if the Angler was feathered off or straight at the subject. I would like to know how to use filters with this modifier.

Thanks for the kind words and I’m glad it was easy to understand. This softbox is soft enough for what it does but keeping in mind it’s a 24” size. If you want more diffusion or more glow, this 24” has to be as close as possible to the subject. Or, using a softbox 3 times the size will provide a much softer light. That’s the physics of lighting on this perspective.

I did purchase one because of the fast set up. Like close to the subject making the modifier seem larger than the subject will soften the lake but moving the light for the back will also soften the light the light

@@marcomark8actually, if you move the light further back, the light will become more harsh, not softer. If you want softer light, the light needs to be close to the subject.

Godox AD200 and this fastbox: I bought the 20 inch version with the speed light adapter. The Godox AD200 with the fresnel head fits but because the head is slighter larger than a normal speed light the locking mechanism does not actually lock it in place; therefore, you need to have everything pointing downwards otherwise the flash will slip out. They should have made a separate larger adapter for the Godox AD200 where the locking mechanism will actually lock it and hold it in place.

The Fast Box not designed for this flash. The AD200 is meant for lightstands and the AD200 flash not only is very long plus it weighs over 750 grams! The Godox S2 adapter is the proper mount if you want to use soft boxes with that.

for my AD200 I have the beauty dish which fits on front of the unit and with the bare bulb it works great. this one is nice and will be for the AD100pro :)

If the width is the same as a speed light, then I’d say yes using their canon speed light adapter. The height should be no problem. Again, if it’s not too tall.
