looks like u was fishing one of the more popular spots always see someone around there when fishing cat and carp 1 something ive noticed though when fishing there less is more with the bait guys oposite me was throwing in masses of bait compaired to me they blanked whilst i used a solid bag with lunchenmeat/ worms as hook bait. ended a 12 hour session with 3 cats to just under 30ib and 6-7 carp.

Someone please tell me why anglers in the UK use a long spoon to feed bait? Wouldn't it be easier to use a baitboat?

Cheaper a lot of the time, plus it can offer you some more options as well as being very quiet
