Yeah, it depends on the focus of the curriculum. There are some very cool applications however. For example, if you want to find the center of a circle in the real world, you can place a sheet of paper (or anything with a 90 degree corner) with the corner on the circle. Then, the rays of the angle will intersect the circle at the endpoints of a diameter. Also, if you inscribe a quadrilateral in a circle, all angles are inscribed angles, thus guaranteeing opposite angles to be supplementary 😄
