What an awesome round!! Your putting was phenomenal, leaving easy tap ins on most holes. Even if things started to go sideways, the cavalry was right next to you to watch your back. A big thank you to the men and women protecting your country and freedoms. Have you considered doing a video on course management where you break down your thoughts on some of the holes you played? Your course management skills are head and shoulders above most recreational golfers.

Impressive James! It seems your confidence has improved along with your golf swing. Your ball striking is getting more consistent, your ball flight is excellent, direction is spot on, and your putting is top notch. A great game again James, well done! Looked an interesting course and that 18th was certainly a daunting hole to finish with! You seem to have such a confidence in your short game - whenever you just miss the green you seem to pitch it on and give yourself a decent chance for an up and down par. Wish I could do that! Those greens didn't look easy and quite bumpy so your distance pace putting was very impressive too! I look forward to the next video. Have you ever played bull bay on Anglesey? Nicely played James. One tip I always find useful is to tee up on the same side of the tee box the hazard is. Like on the 18th, it might have served you better to line up on the right hand side. Funnily enough it makes you aim more to the left 😅

Distance with the driver increased quite a bit with the warmer weather. Really nice speed on your putts from distance too! I’m wondering if fatigue was a factor on the back nine? Quite a bit of “pushing” to the right which is a characteristic of when I get a little tired on the back 9. Overall a fine round!

James, I really like watching your videos because our games are so similar and your videos show me how to play. Your lag putting is so good. Do you spend time at a hitting range or do you just play? Please, keep up the good work.
@notaperfectgolfer34892 жыл бұрын
I usually hit 50 balls a week on the range. No more as I don't like hitting off mats especially with the irons. I play a practice round once a week usually, playing 2 balls through 9 holes repeating shots that were played poorly. For putting I try to do 15 mins after every round on the putting green to warm down. Thanks for watching as always Randy :-)

James, notice you grip down really far on your driver. Should maybe get a couple of inches cut off it. I did it with mine and it changed my driving, also made my swing feel more free as took away the butt of the club "overhanging ".
@notaperfectgolfer34892 жыл бұрын

Okay...James! What is up with this added distance? Not just the driver and hybrid ur smashing 230 and nearly 200, respectively, but also ur irons seem to be taking less club to get there? Get new clubs? Figure something out? Better conditions? Great round, mate!
