Thankful to have found these lectures…I attend Emmanuel and St Chad College (University) an Anglican college here in Canada and really enjoyed viewing these video’s on my journey in my Master’s of Theology degree.

I’m LCMS Lutheran. That left over wine in rinsed out in a prescribed manner. The water and wine is poured out into the church’ s flower bed or similar construct. It isn’t just dumped down the drain.

In the orthodox church, confirmation, or, as it is known as Chrismation is done immediately after baptism. This is accomplished with the use of a special, holy oil, and represents the seal of the Holy Spirit.

Father, since Archbishop William Laud of Canterbury (+1645), have not most Anglicans embraced more of a Lutheran euchology (bread and wine combined with the really physical Body and Blood of Christ) than Calvin's Reformed euchology of a merely pneumatic/spiritual/virtual presence?

Well, since you haven't been answered, I'll give it a shot. First, I'm not an Anglican, but Catholic. That being said, I believe that the doctrine is not clearly defined in the Anglican/Episcopalian Churches, therefore, a variation of beliefs are allowed, except for transubstantiation. But, you can indeed do a google search to know for sure.

Anglicans (from the Province of Kenya) follow the spiritual presence rather than the actual presence of the Body and Blood of Christ.

This church has a Protestant constitution a Catholic liturgy which has led to an Arminian clergy at best and apostate romanising one at worst. Ex Arminian Calvinist.

Excellent idea on the mentorship of high school vs age 12-13. I would have understood and been more ready to make the profession at the older age, as to this day I remember my confirmation and the fear I had if I did not stand and take my vows before God and in front of my parents. Today 40 years later, I wear my confirmation gift necklace of the decending Holy Spirit in honor of that time in my adult life where I returned to my faith. I looked into other churches as a youth, but once a Catholic/Anglican always one in heart.
