A Rocha is an international community of Christians working in biodiversity conservation to protect and restore vulnerable habitats, species, and communities. A Rocha USA started in 2001 and is proud to be part of a worldwide family of A Rocha organizations that spans over 20 countries and 6 continents-all with a shared mission to care for all of God’s creation.
At community-based conservation projects in Florida, Texas, and Southern California, A Rocha works with local communities to conduct scientific research, deliver environmental and theological education, and take climate action. This can look like collecting plastic nurdles on the beach, removing invasive plants, studying horseshoe crabs, or teaching kids to care for creation where they live. National programs like Love Your Place and Climate Stewards USA allow individuals and church communities anywhere to connect with A Rocha and each other to care for creation together.
