Been listening to this book on audio. Am on Chapter 8, and just can't get past the liberal leftist attitude of this writer. He definitely has a disdain for Dan Patrick. His leftist beliefs about boys entering girls restrooms, gay rights, etc.... are all fine and good, but I disagree, as most civil minded human beings, don't believe in this. One high school girl has been sodomized by a boy in her high school bathroom, and the recent shooting of innocent Catholic children and teachers by a transgender are results of the "tribalism of our politics". Lunacy to have such an open border and the Democrats policies have spiraled America into the highest inflation ever. They claim to be a party for the poor, underprivileged, but they aren't doing much to help anyone, least of all the lowest income. I was so excited to read an unbiased report about my beloved state, but Texas Monthly has gone left, as have most media and periodicals. Just couldn't finish the book. What a disappointment.
