Ma'am i reckon MS Cotton Vitelius has two manuscripts "Nowell codex" and "Southwick codex" These All works are mentioned only in NOWELL CODEX. I found that it's either called "Nowell codex" or "Beowulf manuscript" not "MS Cotton Vitelius". Furthermore, why hasn't Southwick codex's works mentioned?

Secular poetry includes heroic poetry (even Beowulf) battle poems and poems like Deor's Lament , wanderer, seafarer. The elegies and heroic poems show christian elements at times because of later interpolations by clerics.

@@munninag1872 BCE: Stands for "Before the Common Era" CE: Stands for "Common Era" BC: Stands for "Before Christ" AD: Stands for "Anno Domini", which means "the year of the lord" The two notation systems are numerically equivalent, so "2024 CE" and "AD 2024" both refer to the current year. And BCE is actually same as BC
