In normal derbies (I think that one is normal) t-bones are not permitted. But if it wasn't intentional, they'll let it slide. I don't know what the BMW guy was thinking going in the opposite direction but he stood there sideways so no wonder someone accidentally hit him

It's not expensive. In my country (Czech republic) you can buy car for racing like this about 200€ and you Will pay to register next 90€. Organization Is about 1000€

Could someone explain what the rules are? Is there any actual winner? Is it counted by laps? Last man standing? Why are some cars seemingly intentional killing themselves in order to smash into other cars? Why do new cars appear & old ones reappear?

There are two types of races, Banger races and demolition derbies. Banger races, first car across the line after a certain amount of laps wins. Demolition derbies, last car standing wins. I believe there are additional points for hard hits but i'm not sure

Yeah, I also tried that one! To my mind, this is the best car for high-speed derbies. Btw you need to try it out at the Big Valley Speedway (Open demolition arena), it's gonna have plenty of room to gain speed there

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county.
