Orbelisk is one of my favourite OG builds, with pebballs and bouldorbs to boost them. Use to be easier to run when those events and balls were more common.

This build is so painful to watch. I love Tom, and I love this game, but watching Tom buying every single pebball instead of upgrading what he has is extremely painful. I’d rather slam my dick in a sliding glass door for 30 minutes than watch this run. Edit: …the entire point of the pebball build is the orbelisk. And Tom just ignores it… TWICE! Just… I… my brain hurts. Watch this video if you love Tom, but absolutely do not watch it for tips and tricks. About every choice of relic and balls was wrong.

It would have become a thing of beauty. I had a similar peball-suffer the sling-hero's backpack run, but a had like a third the number peballs Tom had. Turning the weakest orb into the strongest is fun.

4:43 Tom talks about needing to heal up before he reaches the boss, then passes up the Popping Corn, which would probably have healed him to full by the time he got to the boss. I like the Heavy Shaft Potion too, but I'd say the Popping Corn is one of the best relics in the entire game.

To be fair to Tom, with the amount of crits he had, Heavy shaft made a lot of sense. Having lots refreshes synergizes with a lot of relics or is even great by its self

It's a shame Tom didn't get the relic that gives orbs a damage boost based on the amount of same orbs that are in your deck and connected together when you draw them. Obviously didn't need it this time, but that would've catapulted the damage superhigh!

Did something similar recently with an all pebball build even had a few events that gave 3 pebballs, but got the hero's backpack relic- +1/+2 for each connected orb of the same type... Just blew everything away!

I did an all pebble with a few bouldorbs mixed in, the build becomes game breaking if you can get the events which duplicates all orbs, upgrades all, and converts them all into Orbeliks. From experience one of the most powerful builds. You won't be having any clever reload builds but still very fun nonetheless

In the spider stages, I usually hard target the spiders until the other enemies start getting closer. The spiders only hit for one damage, but they attack every turn and add momentum-killing slime to pegs, and the death-by-a-thousand-cuts really sucks.

I did a refresh build last night that was pretty great with just a refreshorb, then the artifacts to change pegs into bombs on refresh, and allowed bombs to refresh, and by the end of the Cave, my dude was just vomiting a stream of bombs at the boss, and it was toast in 3 shots.

This is really just a testament to how easy the game is when you don't play on cruciball. I think you should at least play on cruciball 5, so you lose a crit. That way you can have the option to do murcicle builds by deleting the last crit with the pendant.

I tell you, Pebble Run may be clutch for the first Boss, but by the third you plough through XD
